Henriksen, Lisa, and Ulla G. Foher. "Adolescents and Media." Handbook of Adolescent Psychology. By Donald F. Roberts. 2nd ed. Hoboken, New Jersey: John Wiley & Sons, 2004. 499-502. Print.

In this section of Handbook of Adolescent Psychology, the authors compare the prominence of sexual content between the past and present. This section also explains how adolescents go to media sources for information on sex and how today media focuses on sex as opposed to romance. Sex is currently the most searched topic on the internet. Henriksen received her Ph.D. at the Stanford University School of Medicine. She is a senior research scientist and the prevention research center in the Stanford Center on Adolescence. Donald F. Roberts earned his Ph.D. in communication at Stanford. His primary concerns are youth and media. This information could benefit parents of adolescents by making them aware of a topic that could potentially affect their child. This was a very understandable source. This material did not seem to be biased in any way.
