Advancements and Futuristic Trends in Mechanical and Materials Engineering

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF FULL LENGTH PAPER

Manuscripts should be proof-read and have English language errors corrected before submission. The manuscript file should have the following structure: Title, Authors, Affiliations, Abstract, Keywords, Main text (Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Experimentations, Results, Discussions, Summary or Conclusion), Acknowledgements, Appendix, and References. The electronic copy should be prepared by using MS Word (suitable for windows). Title: Concise and informative. Titles are often used in information-retrieval systems. Avoid abbreviations and formulae where possible. Author names and affiliations: Where the family name may be ambiguous (e.g., a double name), please indicate this clearly. Present the authors' affiliation addresses (where the actual work was done) below the names. Indicate all affiliations with a lower-case superscript letter immediately after the author's name and in front of the appropriate address. Provide the full postal address of each affiliation, including the country name, and, if available, the e-mail address of each author. Corresponding author: Clearly indicate who will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also postpublication. Ensure that telephone and fax numbers (with country and area code) are provided in addition to the e-mail address and the complete postal address. Contact details must be kept up to date by the corresponding author. Abstract: A concise and factual abstract is required. The abstract should state briefly the purpose of the research, the principal results and major conclusions. Keywords: Immediately after the abstract, provide a 3- 6 keywords, separated by comma. Acknowledgements: Collate acknowledgements in a separate section at the end of the article before the references. List here those individuals who provided help during the research (e.g., providing language help, writing assistance or proof reading the article, etc.). Maths Formulae: Present simple formulae in the line of normal text where possible and use the solidus (/) instead of a horizontal line for small fractional terms, e.g., X/Y. In principle, variables are to be presented in italics. Powers of e are often more conveniently denoted by exp. Equations, Units and Nomenclature: (l) Equations are preferably typed using Word Equation editor. Allow one line of space above and below. Number displayed equations (if applicable) consecutively from Eq. (1) to the end of the paper. Example: x = r1 Sin Cos (1) (2) Each paper must have a separate nomenclature section containing all the symbols used in the text and their definitions. Each dimensional symbol should have SI units. All dimensionless groups and coefficients must be indicated as dimensionless after their definitions. Tables and Figures: (l) Brief and descriptively title each table and caption each figure. Place table title (title case) above the table; place figure caption (title case) below the figure. Text and symbols must be clearly readable, avoid small symbols. (2) Refer each table and figure in the text. If possible, place tables and figures in the order mentioned in the text as close as possible to text reference. Figures and Tables should be placed nearest to its first reference in the text. (3) Allow one line of space between the table title and the table (or between the figure and its caption). Allow one line of space between the table or figure and the adjacent text. Example: (4) Figure and table should be referred in the body of the text as Fig. 1 and Table 1 respectively. References: References to cited literature should be identified in the text in square brackets and grouped at the end of the paper in numerical order of appearance. References should be styled and punctuated according to the following examples: journal article [1], proceedings [2] and book [3]. The reference text should be typed in Times New Roman 8 pt., italic with single line spacing and give one line space between each reference.

The paper title, name(s) of author(s), and affiliation, and address, should be centeral justified. Center the paper title at the upper side of the first page (14 Points, Bold, Capital). Keep title brief and descriptive. Avoid starting with articles or prepositions, e.g. THE STUDY OF .., ON THE. Spell out acronyms unless they are widely used. The paper should not exceed 6 pages (and begin with an Abstract of not more than 200 words in italics. Abstract should be followed by 3-5 Keywords) including figures, tables, acknowledgement etc, describing the aim of work, methods, and results obtained and conclusions. Type the headings, sub-headings and paragraphs aligned with the left-hand margin. Text should be single spaced and both sides justified. Do not number paragraphs, but number section and sub-sectional headings except Abstract, Keywords, Acknowledgment and References. Write corresponding author with e-mail address. Figure caption should be 9 point regular. Reference number should be marked in the parenthesis to the word/line where it appears in the text such as [5, 12]. Reference appearing first in the text should written first under the heading Reference.
