Queens College Fellows Program, Flushing- Fall Semester 2010 I was responsible for the initial processing, finding aid construction, and display of a continually-expanding collection of untouched Institutional records. As well as acting as the 'Lone-Arranger,' for these materials, I learned first-hand the importance of successful donor relations, Archive promotion, and community involvement. Lead Bookseller, Barnes and Noble Flagship Store, New York City- 2002-2010 The Lead position served as the liaison between the Floor Managers and part-time employees. Front-list Lead filled several roles: creating and curating displays, maintaining a rotating selection of over 100 new and trending titles per week, micro-managing and training up to a dozen employees at a given time, and providing efficient and reliable service to thousands of customers per week. Circulation Assistant, Robert H. Goddard Library at Clark University, Worcester, MA- 1998-2002 The Goddard Library taught me the value in juggling several responsibilities at once. This included, but was not limited to, circulation checkout, reserves, and daily re-shelving. I was also trained to troubleshoot technical microfilm reader and photocopier problems, aid in patron computer queries, and provide minor reference assistance.
