Basis for this discourse This attempts to highlight certain confusing issues, not just amongst the non-Muslims but much among those who say "we believe". We will look at notable concepts such as America, Western Civilization, Man, Civilizations, Terror, Muslims and Islam. The intention is to show that America has no choice but to turn God. Allah, the creator of heavens and earth, will fulfill his promise, and that only He alone is the master, worthy of worship, not the selfish desires of man. There is no escape from the decrees of Allah.

The unbelievers spend their wealth to hinder (men) from the path of Allah and so will they continue to spend; but in the end they will have (only) regrets and sighs; at length they will be overcome: and the unbelievers will be gathered together to Hell. (The Holy Qur'an 8:36)

America has unwittingly but willingly entered into a war it is bound to lose. This current war, (a crusade or not, infinite justice or enduring freedom, unlike all the previous wars America had ever fought) would most likely be long. It would be self-destructive. This we pray to be most decisive which, we hope, will lead finally to the dissolution of the western 'civilization' and dominance, as we know it, God willing. The westerners, as usual, have made a cunning distinction between Muslims and Islam, to give them time to tackle one then the other.

"It is not a war against Islam", they said. Yet it is a war against Muslims. Ironically many Muslims seem to accept this contrariety and blindly lend their blessing, meaningless prayers and limited resources, for America to fight not Islam, they are told, but Muslims, Maulana Umar and Taliban, Usama Bn Laden and Al Qa'ida, in a remote land of west Asia, called Afghanistan. These people, who professed Islam, assumed that by allowing America to destroy their brothers, with or without proof of their crimes, that they will remain respectful and strong. America is in truth against the principles of Islam.

But the revelation that cometh to thee from Allah increaseth in most of them their obstinate rebellion and blasphemy (The Holy Qur'an 5:64)

It is Islam that tunes man towards God, and makes him distasteful of all the immorality America continually spreads. America, therefore, is out to eliminate those who call people back to God. America certainly has no quarrel with those who take their religion lightly, a matter of convenience or as a tribal heritage. The country and its leaders are against real belief, the implementation of the tenants of Islam, the acceptance of God as the Lawgiver. For those who know Islam, this is no news. History is replete with instances of persecution by the powerful nations against followers of Islam. These believers might

even have been conquered or massacred, yet they were ultimately the victorious, for the spirit of the believer and the message is indestructible.

And if ye are slain or die in the way of Allah forgiveness and mercy from Allah are far better than all they could amass. (The Holy Qur'an 3:157)

The Muslims' qualification of wining a war is not therefore the taking of land or the preservation of the fighters' lives. Victory is the willingness to give life for a cause, and the ability to withstand evil, to proclaim the oneness of God and to deprive the world-loving, unbelieving people the quiet, the ease and the comfort of doing and spreading evil.

Allah hath purchased of the believers their persons their good; for theirs (in return) is the garden Paradise): they fight in His cause and slay and slain: a promise binding on Him in truth through the

the Gospel and the Qur'an: and who is more faithful to his covenant than Allah? Then rejoice in the bargain which ye have concluded: that is the achievement supreme. (The Holy Qur'an 9:111)

For the stance of these mindful and courageous Muslims, Islam had been taunted and fought against by numerous generations ('civilizations') before, from the time of prophet Noah (Nuhu), through Prophet Abraham (Ibrahim) to Lut, Salih, Shuaib, Moses, Jesus and the lineage of Allah's prophets. The outcome had always been the same. The enemies of Islam always thought by fighting or killing Muslims their problems would be solved. But irrespective of the outcome of those battlefields, Islam had patiently endured, and withstood insults, at the end, it had shaken the false prides of all manmade-attempts in building immortal civilizations. America is therefore neither a first foe nor the last to Islam. It is just the new warrior of those who cultivate mean imagination and low estimation of God.

Fain would they extinguish Allah's light with their mouths but Allah will not allow but that His light should be perfected even though the unbelievers may detest (it). (The Holy Qur'an 9:32)

What all these successions of Allah's enemies failed to realize was that the people they fought stood against them for nothing other than to purify their own souls, Islam is

Allah's and He has already decreed continuity for it against any machination of unbelieving degenerates.

It is He who hath sent His apostle with guidance and religion of truth to proclaim it over all religions even though the pagans may detest (it). (The Holy Qur'an 9:33)

Islam had written the history of its past opponents, from China to India, From Persia to Rome, from Zululand to Habe domains, from the Incas to the recently dismantled Soviets. All these and many more are signs from Allah to mankind hoping these would serve as memorable lessons to their predecessors to accept that Islam is eternal, immortal.

See they not how many of those before them We did destroy? Generations We had established on the earth in strength such as We have not given to you for whom We poured out rain from the skies in abundance and gave (fertile) streams flowing beneath their (feet): yet for their sins We destroyed them and raised in their wake fresh generations (to succeed them). (The Holy Qur'an 6:6)

Alas, man had always been of short memory. This write-up is therefore an attempt to highlight certain issues on which there are confusions, not just amongst the non-Muslims but much among those who say "we believe". We will look at concepts such as America, Western Civilization, Man, Civilizations, Terror, Muslims and Islam. The intention is to show that, irrespective of all people, whether they support Muslims in Afghanistan or the enemy of Islam, America, Allah, the creator of heavens and earth, will fulfill his promise, and that only He alone is the master, worthy of worship. Equally I intend to highlight, to those who might benefit, the real intention of America and its allies, both in Muslim and non-Muslim communities. Also to dispute those who want to deprive the real-Muslims the pleasure of thanking God for instilling sorrow and terror in the hearts of their enemies. And to prepare the Muslims to what is to come, expected or not, wished or not, for all is from their Lord. And there is no escape from the decree of Allah.

Say: "Nothing will happen to us except what Allah has decreed for us: He is our protector": and on Allah let the believers put their trust. (The Holy Qur'an 9:51)

To the enemies of Allah, and their backers in the midst of the Muslims, no decree of Allah is good news to them.

Say: "Can you expect for us (any fate) other than one of two glorious things (martyrdom or victory)? But we can expect for you either that Allah will send His punishment from Himself or by our hands. So wait (expectant); we too will wait with you." (The Holy Qur'an 9:52)

And finally to elucidate that this concept, Islam, stands always as the winner against all fabricated theories and presumptions. AMERICA The United States of America is, by the favor of Allah, a universal country. There lives a collection of a generality of people, as representation of man created by God. Without tribal, racial or creed-name bias, United States stands as a divine intention of man's earthy residency, but for its fundamental objective. Because of America's open door policy, man's inherent qualities of research, technical endeavors, and inventiveness, have been fully enhanced and exploited. Each race, each tribe had contributed and is contributing, through Allah's gifts to make United State a great country. There had been only an instance in history where man, irrespective of his exterior differences and tribal affiliation had come together and

lived in a brotherhood on a pedestal of an agreed basic principle. That was in Medina, over 1400 years ago, under the leadership of a prophet of Allah, Muhammad, (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him.) The inhabitants of Medina were of mix-races, an embryonic representation of mankind.

O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female and made you into nations and tribes that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise each other). Verily the most honored of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things). (The Qur'an 49:13)

They were bound to a basic principle of religion, a way of life, Islam. From a few adherents, the followers of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) grew in number and strength. Their power increased and the sphere of their influence widened. This universal city endured as long as the cohesion of its citizens remained on the basic principle. In the course of time they divided themselves into sects, with tribal affiliations and arrogant attachments which ultimately broke their unity and, by Allah's decree, they lost supremacy and the tranquility they previously enjoyed.

Just as Allah brought out Medina, as a symbol of Islamic brotherhood, America was subsequently brought about by the same God to allow man to realize his potentials. America is therefore a missed opportunity for Muslims since they had allowed the idea of the universality of mankind to be hijacked by non-Muslims. Subsequently, America, though non-Islamic, had attained growth and strength through human striving for Allah's bounty. Since America's striving was in the absence of Allah's Book of Guidance on man's spirituality, its subsequent success has been without that spiritual blessing. At the end, America has become irreligious and bashful with personified pride.
Pride is my cloak and greatness My robe, and he who competes with Me in respect of either of them I shall cast into Hell-fire. Hadith Qudsi 19

America is now a land of adulterers, robbers, homosexuals, usurers, gamblers, alcoholics, incense, pagans, hypocrites, and swindlers, extravagance, sinful, selfish, wicked and presumptuous. They make jest and fun of anything Allah has instructed his servants to revere. Real Muslims do not actually see America as an enemy for its worldly blessings from Allah. It is neither envy against American wealth, nor even the desire for it; rather, they see all the American wealth as transitory pastime, a hindrance to the owners against the remembrance of Allah.

The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection; for Allah bestows His abundance without measures on whom He will. (The Holy Qur'an 2:212)

In fact Muslims give praise to Allah for all his favors to mankind. Real Muslims hate American leaders and people for championing man against God, making jest of religion and the messengers of Allah. They are adversaries who have murdered millions of people throughout their history through selfishness. In pursuit of their self-acclaimed objectives, the Americans have killed millions of children, women, and old people in Japan with the atom Bomb. They have mutilated the people of Vietnam. They and the Europeans have enslaved millions of blacks. They have stolen much from other nations and butchered millions of the Red Indian tribesmen. They have continually spread corruption all over the world through films, television, books and their human agents. They have promoted nudity and carnality, wastage and plunder, and they engage in any conceivable act of immorality and physical violence.

(All) these transgressed Beyond bounds in the lands. And heaped therein Mischief (on mischief). (The Holy Qur'an 39:11-12)

The 11th September 2001 attack on America is unique. Since its independence war, that country had never been attacked on its mainland. A few determined persons did it. It was carried out within the system, with the resources of the system and through the system. Most significant, the attack was on the heart of the country and its systems. The World Trade Center and the Pentagon buildings have been the symbols of American power and achievement. That these jewels were hit, and destroyed, the intention was certainly to instill fear and terror into the minds and hearts of a people who had previously thought they were invincible. Americans had prepared defense against all kinds of attacks, so to say, from conventional to non-conventional nuclear, biological or chemical warfare. But Allah suffices to inflict man with punishment from quarters man had the least expectation.

Those who reject Our signs and the meeting in the hereafter vain are their deeds: can they expect to be rewarded except as they have wrought? (The Holy Qur'an 7:147)

America is a country thriving on free trade, but this attack, and any that may or may not

follow, will shake off that unrestrained confidence. It cannot subjugate the world under the pressure of debt and turmoil and expect the world to sit by watching. Neither would they be able to subdue the Muslim spirit against oppression and disbelief.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: One who died but did not fight in the way of Allah nor did he express any desire (or determination) for Jihad died the death of a hypocrite. Sahih Muslim Hadith 4696 Narrated by Abu Hurayrah

America will have to fight for survival, just as other ancient "civilizations" had done, and it will lose the war, much as others in the past had lost also. Its loss may be one of two or both. It has the military might to attack Afghanistan and any other Muslims nations it might choose to destroy, but it would lose wining the hearts of the real Muslims it aimed to convert to disbelief and man-worship. Subsequently, it will never have peace to pursue trade that is the mainstay of its existence. It also may have unwillingly triggered interest in its people for spiritual comfort, thus turning their attention to God for protection, becoming Islamic, that as sequel to the disorder that may arise as a result of its all-out-war against Muslims. These had happened before, when non-Muslim forces set out to destroy Islam but were subdued by Islam, after conquering the renegade followers of the faith. Classic examples are the Pharaoh's belated acceptance of faith while pursuing the Children of Israel. The Romans, in the

generation of the Gospel (Injeel), the Book of Jesus (Alai-his Salaam), became propagators of his message after persecuting his followers. The leader of the Meccan elite force sent to eliminate the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him!) unexpectedly converted to Islam and became its shiny champion. So were the Tartans, from Asia, turned Muslim after ravaging the Qur'anic generation, the people of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him), of the 6th century AH. Equally, America may be punished or blessed to lead mankind back to God.

Not for thee (but for Allah) is the decision: whether He turn in mercy to them or punish them; for they are indeed wrong-doers. (The Holy Qur'an 3:128)

Either way, the perverted atheists, Jews, Christians and Muslims hypocrites worshipping economy would then be the losers. The rearMuslims know that Allah will never leave transgression to dominate and persist. It should be understood that America is taken to be the representative of human achievement in all fields of material activity. Its basic principle is based on the freedom of man to do as he pleases without any restrictions other than that which he has placed on himself. Though the founding fathers of America were Christians, America now is godless, and therefore does not champion any

Christian cause. In fact for America, religion is a personal issue, insignificant and non-intrusive, a matter of ceremony and the celebrations. It had used religion to get allegiance, and had discarded all its restrictions. It has an assured adherence, sympathy and assistance of the westerntrained leaders and citizens of the Muslim countries. It enjoys the vast money of the Jews and their interest-lending facilities with which it has tied the economy of the world. It has the unlimited flow of oil from the Muslim lands ruled by moderate-Muslims elite that tucked away the collective wealth of their nations in the banks owned by their enemies. It has provided a canopy for all those with weird unholy ideas. The true American is therefore anyone anywhere who excludes Allah from his life. This and his like have become blind to the truth and walk arrogantly on earth, playing God. The work of such person, like the gigantic work of America will melt as salt melts in water.

Say: If it be that your fathers your sons your brothers your mates or your kindred; the wealth that ye have gained; the commerce in which ye fear a decline; or the dwellings in which ye delight are dearer to you than

Allah or His apostle or the striving in his cause; then wait until Allah brings about His decision: and Allah guides not the rebellious. (The Holy Qur'an 9:24)

WESTERN 'CIVILIZATION' Throughout human history, certain tribes had risen above others around them through commerce and military prowess. This military strength had been through the initial monopoly of an item or weapons endowed to them from God. The gift was to keep the balance amongst nations.

... And did not Allah check one set of people by means of another the earth would indeed be full of mischief but Allah is full of bounty to all the worlds. (The Holy Qur'an 2:251)

Unfortunately, time and times again, man had used this gift for dominance and subsequent oppression of others. As a result, and because of Allah's scale of justice, the monopoly was broken; a new means of strength was introduced and given to the underdog. With this, the dominant power was overthrown, partly because of its wickedness and for Allah to show them that they have no monopoly of power, for Power belongs to God.

Muslims of the Qur'anic generation had had the same opportunity, from being the overburdened underdog at Mecca, then given victory at Medina, and allowed to conquer other peoples.
Call to mind when ye were a small (band) despised through the land and afraid that men might despoil and kidnap you; but He provided a safe asylum for you strengthened you with his aid and gave you good things for sustenance: that ye might be grateful. (The Holy Qur'an 8:26)

They expanded their boundary Far East to Persia and beyond, far south to Africa, far north to the Caucasus and Russia, and Far West to Europe, eyeing the gate of Vienna. Like others before them, and true to the promise of the Creator, they lost their grip when they adulterated their vision of the mission, engaged more in empire building than propagating the message; subsequently they practiced selfishness and injustice. Inevitably the same decree of Allah applied to them and they finally crumbled.

Not your desires nor those of the people of the Book (can prevail): whoever works evil will be requited accordingly. Nor will he find besides Allah any protector or helper. (The Holy Qur'an 4:123)

The successors of the Muslims were the people of Europe. They were converted to Christianity, despite its adulteration and interpolations. They grabbed it and practiced

much more fairness then than most rulers who, in the political sense, claimed Islam as their religion and clung to its name though they were far removed from its injunctions. With new weapons, the Europeans scrambled for and partitioned the old empires of the world. The span of their power was far wider than any civilization before it, yet the duration is physically short, but its direct and indirect influence has been persistent. They had always resorted to unconventional means to subdue their adversaries. They used double-cross, treachery, unimaginable cruelty, back-stabbing, meanness, trickery, bribery and deceit to bring down empires and to establish their hegemony. Though they roamed the world initially on the ticket of religion, the people were in truth a market driven-nation, or 'civilization'. Because of its merchandising, the western appeal had little resistance from all other peoples. Unfortunately for the people of the world, the thugs had robbed and plundered the treasures of all peoples. They wasted the whole resources of the world within so short a period. They have caused so much misery.
The Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him!) said: There is no trial and tribulation greater than that of Dajjal* since the creation of man up to the coming of the Day of Resurrection. (Mishkat al-Masabih, also Kanz alUmmal Vol. 7, p. 2028.) * The European nations

It was ironic that they had achieved so much within so short a time. Unlike the Muslims who had been taught in their Book the hidden secrets of life, the Europeans had to search

for it. One would have expected the Muslims to do so much more; given the savings they got by a doubtless inspiration. But the westerners had brushed off superstition from Christianity. Through observation and documentation they came to understand some of Allah's way of doing things (Sunnah). The degenerated 'Muslims' succumbed to superstition instead of truth and abandoned the Book and the Sunnah of the prophet (peace be upon him). Thus the westerners became the leaders of the world. For their endeavors in all fields and spheres of human activities, Allah released his favors abundantly to mankind. Since they were irreligious, they made man thankless, an arrogant empty being.

Now when trouble touches man he cries to Us; but when We bestow a favor upon him as from Ourselves he says "This has been given to me because of a certain knowledge (I have)!" Nay but this is but a trial but most of them understand not! (The Holy Qur'an 39:49)

MAN When Allah intends to create a being called man, He intends him to be knowledgeable, representative and authoritative, imitative and initiative, free and responsible, shortlived and accountable. All knowledge of all things, without exception comes from God. Allah gives man this knowledge to make his

I have only created jinns and men that they may serve Me. (The Holy Qur'an 51:56)

The keys to the secrets are given to man gradually to meet his needs and challenging circumstance. No invention or discovery is done before its time, no matter the insistent drive or desire. And each release of knowledge is not meant to be a monopoly of the recipient, be it a nation or an individual. Thus man is tried through knowledge and the exercise of that favor. From Adam, (Salaam) the first man to the last man, the basics are the same. Each is tried and tested according to the depth and scope of the knowledge given to him. How each society gets and uses knowledge depends on its requests and preparedness for it. The longevity of it superiority depends on its willingness and ability to share out such knowledge to others, whether doing that is accepted as decreed by God or not. Nations that were given this light and sought to hoard them have had their rein constrained and shortened. Knowledge is therefore the determinant of the importance of man. If the content of this knowledge relates to the essential relations of Man and God, then the ultimate value of knowledge would have been attained. If however, in pursuit of the present, the knowledge were tuned to the physical needs of

man only, then perversion would issue. For Allah has not given man light to make him arrogant and rebellious.

"Those whose efforts have been wasted in this life while they thought that they were acquiring good by their works?" (The Holy Qur'an 18:104)

The Europeans had thus excelled in the observation of the physical reality of our place of abound, short-lived though this would be. In so doing, they have given demonstration of the favors bestowed on us by Allah. From the house, to the skies, from the depths of seas to the galaxies above, Allah has shown us His signs through the researches of these people. This does not mean that they had better brains, but that unlike other people, they had determination, persistence, patience and zeal for documentation and the urge to share with other nations such knowledge as is released to them by Allah. All of it, of whatever, is from God.

It is He who hath created for you all things that are on earth; moreover His design comprehended the heavens for He gave order and perfection to the seven firmaments; and

of all things he hath perfect knowledge. (The Holy Qur'an 2:29)

Equally, no nation can claim monopoly on the accumulated knowledge from other nations before it. In truth therefore, each generation or 'civilization' is rested on the ashes and foundations of previous generations, just as individuals build on the resources of their fathers and teachers. It then would be disastrous for man to assume the position of being the source instead of the recipient. Conversely, therefore, America, as epitome of human achievement must not assign itself the preserve of knowledge, and the arrogance of possession. 'CIVILIZATIONS' I must point out the difference in meaning and usage of the word 'civilization'. For the Muslim, there has been and is only one civilization. That is Islam. Allah has laid this down and He is its caretaker. There has been some confusion as to the reference being made to "Islamic Civilization" to mean either the Arabs or to the current Qur'anic Generation. It must be understood that Islam did not start with the Prophet Muhammad, (peace be upon him). Therefore it would be easier to view Islamic Civilization, as continuum with an intermittent revival movement at different time scale of people of different nationality or race during the course of human history. Each revival is ushered by the coming of a prophet with a renewed message from God.

This standpoint counters the European definition of 'civilization', which must have a define curve of birth, growth, death and decay. Simply put, therefore, there is Islam, constant and persistent, with or without followers, as a dominant civilization with no geographic boundary, without starting date, nor end date, with diversity of races. Along its path and within it, there are people who build their lives on its values. As long as they stick to that set of values, they remain in the Islamic Civilization. At any time they deviate, then, they have their own way or 'civilization', named after their tribal or selfish objective. They have life span that hinges on a scale of justice as measured out amongst themselves and between their subjects. These 'civilizations' exist in succession, lineal and in concurrence, or in parallel. But with time, they will melt, because the values they project are false and therefore unsustainable. Then a renewal of Islamic value will shake off the coverings heaved on it. The western definition of civilization is therefore the deviated paths curved out of Islam by those who preferred their own way instead of Allah's and they celebrate this deviation as pinnacle of human achievement. Each nation contributes to the totality of human treasure of knowledge and experience, serving as lessons to other generations to come. No nation had persisted eternally. Its generation is dislodged through some forces or elements it could not control and no human

intervention plays any role on which people, of which location would succeed which 'civilization'. The choice is Allah's. TERROR The element of terror is an invisible weapon for the determined weak against the oppression of the carefree strong. It is the disturbing current against an assumed stability. Allah provides it as an alternative weapon to quake the presumption of security of those who regard knowledge of the physical world as a guarantor of continuity.

Soon shall We cast unbelievers for that for which He had sent the fire; and evil is Holy Qur'an 5: 151)

But no nation has security unless its values are based solely on codes of conduct, Islamic values, issued to man by his creator. Whenever justice escapes a people, fear and terror takes over. There is no escape.

Of a truth ye are stronger (than they) because of the terror in their hearts (sent) by Allah. This is because they are men devoid of understanding. (The Holy Qur'an 59: 13)

Past generations had been terrorized through any of the countless elements of Allah's creation: through fire, earthquakes, wind, floods, wars and armed incursions of the members of another society. The western civilization had devoted its energy much on physical defense against attacks. It had used iron and gunpowder to instill terror in the hearts of many nations. It had conquered, subjugated people, enslaved and abused them. It had turned the whole world upside down. It had stolen the treasures of all the nations. It occupied their lands and indebted them. It had finally exploited and vandalized the resources of the entire world in wantonness. For all these pervasions and many more, America representing man at his extreme, had been and is still spreading corruption all over the earth.

Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favor of Allah into blasphemy and caused their people

(The Holy Qur'an

Has time come for this man-deviation from Islam to end? It is a promise from Allah, unfailing. He alone knows His agenda. There are countless ways in which Allah if He so wishes, will bring down the western way of life. It could be earthquake, nuclear, wind, water or disease or any other, or combination of all or any of his elements. However, looking at the spread of this 'civilization', the depth and scope of it corruption is great. Mankind is involved in this misdemeanor wholesomely and completely. And because of the preoccupation of all the peoples of the world in merchandise, one is likely to see the disintegration of the present pattern through terror in the hearts of all those who assumed they had conquered nature and that they need no God. From Stone for the primitive, the Iron for the sophisticated, Terror will be the individual's weapon. It is simple, cheap, readily available and self-sustaining. It is likely the only means of defeating the west, and all those who follow them wherever they may reside, or with whatever name they are called, or of whatever religion they may attach themselves. As long as they take America for friend and a protector, then they are Americans.

The unbelievers are protectors one of another: unless ye do this (protect each other) there would be tumult and oppression on earth and great mischief. (The Holy Qur'an 8:73)

And any terror attack on America will be perceived and applicable to all of them. America cannot and will not be able to eradicate terror. It is being paid with what it did before. Their ancestors had used terror to gain ground; certainly they will lose ground to their adversaries through same. Instilling terror into the heart of enemy has been as old as man himself. It is neither new, nor something conquerable. It is one of the favors of God to a man unduly oppressed. MUSLIMS We have come to have distinctive and qualitative labels attached to the word Muslim. We have the term 'Muslims'. Then there are the moderate Muslims. There are the fundamentalist Muslims. Some are called fanatic Muslims. Others are called the militant Muslims. Some of these names had come to Muslims through the term-coining

expertise of the Europeans. We know of only one name given to us by our creator, Allah the Lord of the worlds. "Muslims" is what we were and are still called, that is if and only if, without qualification we accept God as One, the Lord, the Law-giver, and the raiser of Prophets as leaders to mankind. The moderate Muslims are those who by birth are called Muslims, they decide which of Allah's decrees they would obey. They are most, if not all, deeply involved in advancing western culture. They are likely to do some few rituals of Islam, but most certainly refuse to refrain from most things prohibited to Muslims. Free sex as liberalism, alcohol as entertainment, usury as business, lying as diplomacy, discarding the Qur'an as modernization, all these are the traits of the moderate Muslims. They are the accepted partakers of the Western spirit. America is to these people the inspiration and the ultimate aspiration. Yet Allah has issued a warning.

Those in whose heart is a disease thou seest how eagerly they run about amongst them saying: "We do fear lest a change of fortune bring us disaster." Ah! perhaps Allah will give (thee) victory or a decision according to His Will. Then will they repent of the thoughts which they

The so-called fundamentalists are described as those who want to take the world backward to the days of Muhammad (peace be upon him). They are deemed uneducated, uncivilized, a danger to free world. In truth, however, these people are opposed to the unrestrained human-worship and unbraided immorality. These are the enemy of the American extravagant dream, a world of steep paganism. Without stating the obvious, the line of conflict had already been drawn. When President Bush of America declared "You are either with us or with the terrorists", he actually meant the real Muslims, those who know that America is their avowed enemy.

For the unbelievers are unto you open enemies. (The Holy Qur'an 4:101)

He had just echoed Azara, against Prophet Ibrahim (Alai-his Salaam). These were the words of pharaoh against Moses (peace). The People of Noah (Salaam) said the same thing, likewise the leaders of Madyana. We heard the same cry from the pagans of Mecca against Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). All heads of unbelieving generations had made such declaration whenever they realized the symbol of their power was under attack. They stirred their sympathizers towards defense of their systems.

From the onset therefore, the battle is certainly between America as the star of man under the spell of Satan, and Islam as the way of God. In America, Satan has found fulfillment of his promise, that he would make man an ingrate to God. The American lifestyle is a deviation from the straight path, Islam. They legalized and promoted as good whatever Allah had outlawed. They denounced whatever Allah has made good and wholesome for his servants. By so doing, America has become an enemy to God and to God-loving people, therefore it stands to be fought.

Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His apostle nor acknowledge the religion of truth (even if they are) of the People of the Book until they pay the Jizya with willing submission and feel themselves subdued. (The Holy Qur'an 9:29)

Anyone, no distinction as to tribe or race, who accepts Islam as the only path leading straight, who becomes subdued to the grandeur of the Lord, humbles himself and gives thanks to Allah, such a one will be certain of

victory at the end of the present prolonged war. Islam may or may not have followers, but the way persists all the same. Muslims all over the world, in their daily prayers pray to Allah, the Greatest, to inflict destruction on people who reject faith. America and the west have rejected faith. Muslims therefore look forward to the destruction of America.

8 How many populations that insolently opposed the command of their Lord and of His apostles did We not then call to account to severe account? And We imposed on them an exemplary Punishment. 9 Then did they taste the evil result of their conduct and the End of their conduct was Perdition. 10 Allah has prepared for them a severe Punishment (in the Hereafter). Therefore fear Allah O ye men of understanding who have believed! for Allah hath indeed sent down to you a Message (The Holy Qur'an 65: 8-10 )

Yet when Allah inflicted pain and shame on America, the Moderate Muslims have recoiled in horror, disclaiming the instruments of Allah while condoling their enemies! These so-called Muslims were quick to quote, to call their religion, a religion of peace. This is a shameful display of hypocrisy from people who have lost vision. Islam does not mean peace with disbelief. Islam means peace of mind by submitting to the ordinance of Allah, and doing pure worship of the one

Supreme Being who is Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

"Those who believe and whose hearts find satisfaction in the remembrance of Allah: for without doubt in the remembrance of Allah do hearts find satisfaction. (The Holy Qur'an 13: 28)

Misguided leaders of the Muslim countries, with some of their hypocritical scholars rushed to give America their support. They called the attack on America non-Islamic; they rushed to quote Qur'anic verses halfway, trying to hide the verses that condemned what America stands for. Yes, to kill innocent live is wrong, but to spread corruption on earth is worst.

For tumult and oppression (The Holy Qur'an 2:191)

are worse than slaughter;

Where were these so-called Muslims leaders and their scholars when Muslims were massacred in Bosnia, Kosovo, Chechnya and Kashmir? Where were the American sympathizers when their European fathers massacred thousands of the Muslim forefathers? Where were they when America dropped bomb on thousands of babies in Japan and Vietnam. Where were they when France and Italy killed thousands of Muslims in Algeria, Libya,

Tunisia and Morocco? Where, in their perverted understanding of the Qur'an, do they find Allah unmindful of all such atrocities? Who told these western puppets that Allah had forgiven Britain, America and the west for the cruelty they committed against innocent people all over the world in their quest for dominance? Yet in ignorance, the Muslim people have rushed to American side against the Muslims of Afghanistan.

Yea to those who take for friends unbelievers rather than believers: is it honor they seek among them? Nay all honor is with Allah. (The Holy Qur'an 4:139)

Let there be shame on these who sided with the enemy of Allah against Muslims.

O ye who believe! if any from among you turn back from his faith soon will Allah produce a people whom He will love as they will love Him lowly with the believers mighty against the rejecters fighting in the way of Allah and never afraid of the reproaches of such as find fault. That is the Grace of Allah which He will bestow on whom He pleaseth: and Allah encompasseth all and He knoweth all things. (The Holy Qur'an 5:54)

When Allah sent death to his enemies, would have preferred such deaths be through wind, storm or earthquake, or any other of Allah's forces, other than anyone with a Muslim or Arabic name. Shame is to a people who have no praise for their Lord when his decree is established. But Allah has already said:

No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before We bring it into existence: that is truly easy for Allah: (The Holy Qur'an 57: 22)

America wants to use the attack on the heart of its commerce and military might as an excuse to fight Islam. The attack had terrorized them, just as Allah has promised any sinful, arrogant unbelieving people. America and Britain, together with their NATO relatives have realized the significance of that attack. It was directed to the very foundation of their self-inflated 'civilization'. They have gathered their military might. They have the support of the pagan China, Japan and Russia. It has drawn the covenant of those it calls moderate Muslims, thinking it will prevail. From Pakistan it secured the aid of an ignorant soldier who, for the sake of interest-laden loans, had sold his brethren. From the Arabs it got worthless comfort and endorsement for its strike on their fellow non-Arab Muslims. Yet these leaders have watched, for years, Arabs being killed by the Jews who are being supported, armed and protected by America.

They have collected themselves under toothless ineffective bodies such as U.N, Arab League and O.I.C, sipping tea, issuing meaningless communiqus, and disappointing the generality of their people. The real believers are not surprised at the work of these puppets.

O Apostle! let not those grieve thee who race each other into unbelief: (whether it be) among those who say: "We believe" with their lips but whose hearts have no faith; or it be among the Jews men who will listen to any lie will listen even to others who have never so much as come to thee (The Holy Qur'an 5:41)

With the supporting word of the Arab leaders, and the pagan Asian countries, and the backing of its Europeans relatives, America prepared for war and set forth to root out Islamic hatred towards it. Alas, it thinks attacking Afghanistan or any so-called Muslim country is the end of the conflict. It assumes Bin Laden is the source of it problem. But, it is mistaken. Afghanistan is one of those Muslim countries curved out sequel to the European scramble of the world. Mountainous and barren, it did not present itself to the Europeans for direct habitation; rather it was left to their Russian cousins to exert some influence. The people had fought against the communists. When Allah gave them victory, those inclined

to western world unfortunately started fighting those who wanted to stir the country along the path of Islam. The Taliban, who are a collection of Muslim scholars, fought determinedly to capture most of the country. They proclaimed Islam and instituted Shari'a, they opened their borders to all Muslims, attempting to emulate Medina, as a safe haven for the God-loving. Little did they realize that the unity of Muslims is always a threat to America. America and its followers therefore refused to recognize the Taliban authority. They prevented the United Nation from accepting them. Even the so-called Muslim countries in this western-servant body, refused to accept the legitimacy of their brothers, simply because they have refused to mix their belief with unbelief! America, leading the unbelievers and the puppets of the Muslims leaders waged a slanderous campaign against the Taliban. They financed and armed their opponents. They kept the country in perceptual turmoil, just as America and the Arabs did against the Ayatollah of Iran when he proclaimed Islam as his guiding principle. They set Iraq on him, which later was destroyed, with the collaboration of the Arabs, by America and its 'parent' Britain. By refusing to turn over any Muslim to America, The Taliban sought to obey God and to avoid His anger, while the Muslim supporters of America, an infidel, seek to please their enemy to earn the wrath of Allah.

Hast thou not turned thy vision to those who declare that they believe in the revelations that have come to thee and to those before thee? Their (real) wish is to resort together for judgment (in their disputes) to the Evil One though they were ordered to reject him. But Satan's wish is to lead them astray far away (from the Right). (The Holy Qur'an 4:60)

As for Bin Laden, he is a man in his forties. Trained with a degree in western educational system, he had helped the Afghan people against the pagan soviet and has come to realize the evil design of America towards Muslims. A native of Saudi Arabia, Usama has seen the corruption being spread in this Holy Land by the Americans and their moderate Muslim-friends. Subsequently, he has taken steps, as all Muslims should do to remove contamination. But how prepared can any Muslim now be when America keeps watch against Muslims. No frontal attack can effectively meet the American challenge. Since the Muslims have no leaders, it appears they are left with two choices; either to follow their western-guided leaders and abandon Islam, or wage jihad in the best form they know how. And there is no way to win against America and its pervasion other than indirect attack, the reasoned.

Against them make ready your strength to the utmost of your power including steeds of war to strike terror into (the hearts of) the enemies of Allah and your enemies and others besides whom ye may not know but whom Allah doth know. Whatever ye shall spend in the cause of Allah shall be repaid unto you and ye shall not be treated unjustly. (The Holy Qur'an 8:60)

The Leaders of the western world have not realized what they are up against. Their puppets in the Muslim world are as ignorant as ever, in blindness as America itself. America is not fighting just Afghanistan. Nor is Bn Laden their only enemy. But no, America is against Islam. Islam does not need any human to defend it, for Islam is Allah's. And Allah is the Power, the source of strength and the Owner and controller of all things. Alas. We give thanks to God as we watch human vanity being depleted; our hope and prayer is for Allah to allow us remain on his side. For Allah's side is the victorious.

It is such as obey Allah and His Apostle and fear Allah and do right that will win (in the end). (The Holy Qur'an 24:52)

ISLAM Religion is a way of life. Equally, any way of life adopted by man is his religion. However, Islam is the only acceptable way of life to Allah.

"If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to Allah) never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (all spiritual good)." (The Holy Qur'an 3:85)

By his grace, Allah has allowed, though not approved, man's liberty in the formation, with the knowledge he has given man, of whatever concocted pattern of life he, thats man, decided to have for himself. But, it is a decree of Allah that only his religion is the one to prevail. Islam is not a human invention. This way of life is therefore not associated with any single tribe or race. It can be accepted, practiced and discarded, but it can neither be metamorphosed nor destroyed. It had withstood adulteration, remaining pure, leaving the interpolators with their crooked way, pruned off from Islam. Its Creator, throughout the ages, ensures its purity. The Arab leaders who ignorantly think, because the Qur'an is revealed in their language, they can trade Allah's religion for America's friendship,

are mistaken. The real Muslims know their real value. They and their pagan friends will not be spared. Allah uses selected individuals with good characters to show their people what really Islam is, separating it from the overloaded perversion of the practitioners. These Prophets and learned men were believed and assisted by those whose hearts were tuned to simplicity and straightness of Truth. These are called the believers, the Muslims. But the majority of the people, being led by their self-centered leaders, insisted in retaining the notion of life they had inherited from their forefathers. They had grown arrogant and adamantly blind to the light of truth, they remained unbelieving, non-Muslims. There had always been clashes between the two groups. Their interests are different and opposing. One group has a forward vision to life afterlife, while the other hinges its concern on life within life. The Muslim sees present as integral part of a longer, nonterminal existence to start at death. But their adversaries consider life as finite, here and now. The Muslims are therefore inevitably accused of wanting to destroy the jolly present. Because they were always initially few, the Muslims had rarely escaped persecution. Be warned, therefore Muslims, be warned. The Europeans this time are out to take yours souls to Hell!

Nor will they cease fighting you until they turn you back from your faith if they can.(The Holy Qur'an 2: 217)

The guardians of the old system always assumed, because of the resources at their disposal, that the Muslims would be subdued. But in this struggle, the few would endure suffering, persist in the pursuit of truth and Allah would side with them.

Subsequently, Islam, the true religion, the only acceptable way to Allah will prevail upon any other. Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the worlds.

Allah has decreed: "It is I and My Apostle who must prevail": For Allah is One full of strength able to enforce His Will. (The Holy Qur'an 58:21)
