I tried... I read a transcript of this on some Japanese fan site and laughed my way through...but I think a lot got lost in my shit translation job. Just imagine Subaru going "iyaya!" or "akan!" every time you see the words "no," "no good," or "hopeless" ...basically after each suggestion. After the first commercial break (they talked about their feature in Kansaiwalker)... Hina : This is Murakami Shingo, and the members are... Suba : (yells something random)! Shibutani Subaru here. Yasu : (copies Subaru)! It's Yasuda Shota. Okura : What is this? Ahahaha, Okura Tadayoshi here. Hina : Tonight we're doing an emergency project to decide a hobby for Shibutani-san. But before that, we have a letter here from someone who's really troubled over something, can we do a Discussion Story [name of this segment they do where they answer listener's worries]? Suba : No Hina : Just one? Suba : Why? Yasu : Is she really conflicted?

Hina : Yes, she is very worried about this. Yasu : Ehhhh. Suba : I'm also very worried (about my hobby thing) too. Hina : I understand that but Yasu : Let's listen to it. Suba : Well, let's listen. Hina (reads letter) : Im worried over the fact that whenever I drink carbonic drinks (like coke), I always hiccup. Its really big too, even my family is surprised. Its fine when Im at home but Im afraid if it happens while Im outside. Please tell me a good way to stop hiccups. Yasu and Okura laugh and want to hear this hiccup for themselves. Subaru gets mad and yells that she should just stop drinking that stuff. Hina : Emergency Project! Lets find a hobby for Shibutani Subaru-san! All : (claps) Suba : Thank you very much. First, Hina gets Subaru to say some of his hobbiesafter some hmmming and ehhing, they get out of him that he likes secondhand clothes, takes pictures with his digital camera, plays football and his guitar. After that, theyre kinda stuckand heres where the suggestions start :

Yasu : Sneakers! Secondhand clothes are secondhand clothes, but you have a lot of sneakers. Doesnt count, cause they include it in secondhand clothes. Okura : Surfing? Suba : I cant do it, ahahahahaha. All : Ahahahahahaha. Someone : Man youre stupid. Okura : No, Ive read it in a magazine. Suba : There was a time Ive done it Hina : Ohhhhh, but you dont do it now? Suba : Not now. Hina : This means that you dont have your own board? Suba : Nope. I have a wet suit. Okura : Wellcan you dive? Suba : No, but I'm hopeless (at it). Okura : Why? A couple months ago (June 10th), Hina+Yasu+Okura tried helping Subaru come up with a hobby but Subaru shot everything down. They asked for suggestions from listeners and said they'll follow through... and they did! This is from a transcript and and I cry-laughed while reading it, I hope the funny is still there after my shit translation job... again, I think it'll help if you imagine Subaru yelling... especially towards the end. Oh, this was just the beginning segment (first half of the show). Also, there may be some ilttle mistakes here and there, sorry. Lastly, it may also help to read the first time they did this.

Suba : Ehhhh... I'm called Shibutani... mo...ah... mo, mo...I'm feeling. All : [laughs] Yasu : Hello, this is Yasuda Shota. Hina : What's with the "mo"?! Yasu : Hahahahaha, I'm feeling good. Thank you. Okura : Hello, it's Okura here. Ehh... mah, my latest obsession is... um...... All : [laughs] Hina : That's enough, what the hell. Yasu : You don't have one. Okura : If you'd wait just a bit longer... Hina : Well, today is, we've been talking about it ever since before. Suba : Yes Hina : Tonight's project is this, "Let's find a hobby for Subaru"! All : [claps] Hina : We really got mail from listeners, quite a flood of mail too. They've been sorted and carefully selected by our staff. Subaru comments how quiet it got (like how the mood at the concert changed) and the audience were all like "of course (that would be his hobby)" while the rest of the group laughed and laughed because Subaru got no laughs. Hina : First is from _____ of Hyogo. Suba : Yes. Hina : Ehh, "Subaru-kun's hobby..." Suba : Uhn. Hina : "collecting ventilation fans." Yasu : Aahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Okura : Hahahahahahaha. "There was this TV show where they had these people who collected ventilation fans, and they, with their eyes covered, could tell the type of ventilation fan just by the sound it makes."
