ABSTRACT A. Overview
This System is playing an important role for Agencies. The Online Job Portal System is a package to be used by agencies to improve the efficiency of business. Viewing available jobs, or applying for the job at the agency is currently done manually where in the job seekers has to go to the agency and check the available jobs at the agency. Job seekers check the list of jobs available and apply the job if the job is not available otherwise it is of waste for the job seeker to come to the agency to come to check for the job if the job seeker doesnt get the job. Then the agency will show available jobs for the job seeker for his qualifications and the then updates the jobs database. This takes at least one to two hours if the job seeker is available at the near by place otherwise it may take more time. We have decided to investigate the use of an Online Job Applying System. This system would be used by members who may be Job seekers or Agencies to check the availability of the jobs and apply the job for job seekers, and by the agencies to update the databases. The purpose of this document is to analyze and elaborate on the highlevel needs and features of the Online Job Applying System. It focuses on the capabilities and facilities provided by an agency. The details of what all are the needs of the Online Job Applying System and if it fulfils these needs are detailed in the usecase and supplementary specifications.[1]

B. Significance in Industry and Academia

As we know Online Jobs System has yet implemented in Pakistan so the system would be of great importance in the industry. Although the online Jobs System is currently working in different countries and being used successfully but our system will provide unique security measures that would be of great value in the industry. Countries including India, New Zealand, Brazil and Australia etc, are using the online Jobs system, and its getting a good appreciation from few different countries which are keen to implant it. Hence it is secure, fast, cheap and extensively valued system within the industry. While from the academia aspect the system includes various research and exposure to new technologies and therefore would be of great help in academic world to expose new ideas and concepts. The purpose of Software Requirements Specification (SRS) document, in Industry, is to describe the external behavior of the Online Job Portal System. Requirements Specification defines and describes the operations, interfaces, performance, and

quality assurance requirements of the Online Job Portal System. The document also describes the nonfunctional requirements such as the user interfaces. It also describes the design constraints that are to be considered when the system is to be designed, and other factors necessary to provide a complete and comprehensive description of the requirements for the software. Hence, the importance of this system is increasing every day because it has a major utilization in our Country.[1]

BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION

A. What has already been done

A modest work has been done in the development of this system and research, regarding the online Jobs system. This system is currently working in our country and other few countries (New Zealand, America, India and Australia), and proving itself a successful experience. [1]

B. How your work is different from the existing work

We are trying to build a more advance in technology and secure version of this system which would be different from existing works. The first priority would be that we build a System more sophisticated. S o we are going to introduce online interview facility which would make a System more secure and unbiased. This facility would be automated and select candidate at a time. Our system would be more responsive and fast
so we could use it for big gain in future.

C. Does an automated system exists or automation is required

This system exists, where we have to implement this. S o the automation is required in a great importance so we could automate selection of job seekers into an automatic online jobs system. D. How are you going to enhance/update/continue existing system (if applicable) We may try to implement it in all the agencies which require fulfill the specific requirements to join the online job system.

E. Why you want to do what you want to do

This online jobs System that will be capable of performing all kinds of sophisticated requirements that should be fulfill to the job seekers. So that we select

the job seekers who has talent and experience about this job. This system choose those people who has good talent with use of security measures to terminate corrupted people.

GOALS
A. Focus on what is important

The member should be provided with the updated information about the jobs catalog. Provisions for the members to apply the job they want, if all the other required rules hold good. The Admin is provided with interfaces to add/delete the jobs available in the job catalog. The system uses the University information security requirements to provide the login facility to the users

B. What project is trying to achieve

The project is trying to replace the manual jobs system into a systematic online job system. Also its aim is to provide a secure system and facility for job seekers that is a major need of our S ociety.

C. What project will accomplish

At the end of this project we would have made a successful, working and secure online job system. The main and primary focus would be to make this system protected.

This project would be a great opportunity in polishing our programming and database building skills. We would be able to work in a professional and stressful environment. We would be able to handle the pressure of deadlines and improve our understandings in team work environment. When we have built this system, we would be more confident and optimistic in ourselves.

The achievement includes our expertise in online development, the gain of knowledge of new development platforms through self learning. And also an exposure to professional experience through a team work practice

Benefits include the hands on programming skills with the database management expertise. We would also be able to develop new techniques in the process of research and practice.

We expect to learn working on new tools, apply useful successful techniques and developing latest technology within new platforms.

SCOPE AND LIMITATIONS A. Describe the range of functionality to be covered

System will perform the online task: The Online Job Portal System provides online real time information about the jobs available in the agencies and the user information. The Product functions are more or less the same as described in the product perspective. The functions of the system include the system providing different type of services based on the type of users [Member/Admin]. The member should be provided with the updated information about the jobs catalog. Provisions for the members to apply the job they want, if all the other required rules hold good. The member is given a provision to check his account information and change the account information any time in the given valid period. The members are provided with the jobs available roster and allowed to apply job, which they want. The Admin can get the information about the members who have advertised jobs. The Admin can get the information about the members who have applied jobs. The Admin is provided with interfaces to add/delete the jobs available in the job catalog. The job seeker when complete the applying, the due to be paid by the agency must be calculated and the information about the agency and the due amount is sent to the

billing system. System would take interview to the job seekers and will add/delete application. If the job seekers would be applicable for this job so system add the application otherwise delete it. The system uses the University information security requirements to provide the login facility to the user. [1]
