Bhagwat Giita Management Science

Bhagwat Giita Management Science is a reversal of contemporary direction of thoughts which increasingly create divisions and dissent, and deprive us of the sense of belief, joy of work and universal love. Bhagwat Giita is voice (Giita) of independent Self (Bhagwan). This describes the Truth of self which is equal in all of us, and needed no import or export from one and another. Each one of us is equal like a single dot which does not differ in itself but when positioned at different places shows itself in various different shapes and forms. Only the forms and shapes of world or of any organization differ but not the dot or the Aatma which makes all of it. Not even the different dots exist and this illusion of different positions of the individual dots that create the world is also a mere reflection (echo/ mirror image) of its own in the system of nature 'dharma'. For every life in the world, this journey from contemporary situation of body consciousness to eternal self consciousness is conducted in two phases a/ management and b/ development. Step 1 Management is therefore a journey from disorder to order. Disorder is a situation of chaos and because the goal is low, every one finds easy to get it and that is why this becomes full of uncertainty and conflicts. When the goal is increased to a level not achievable by individuals, chaos and conflict gradually reduce and it becomes an act of order by a re-organization. Here risk (with increase in height of the goal) increases but conflicts reduce. This theory, that reduces chaos and conflicts by increase of the risk, is the basis of an approach of organized defences and strategy. Management is, therefore, risk (high goal) based and uses strategic and defence approaches. Treatment of work as a war allows discovery of ones' character by increased knowledge of the laws of nature or of system 'dharma'. Character is individuals' private self-confidence. Decision making, with and without the knowledge of laws of nature ought to differ. And therefore, character of an individual, without knowledge of laws of nature 'dharma' is inconceivable. Even though laws of nature or system remain unchangeable, knowledge of it differs from individual to individual and this knowledge of system (laws of nature) decides individuals' character (stability of decision). To begin with, disbelief is source of this knowledge, and war or action that removes disbelief, fear and any uncertainty, is worth doing extreme sacrifices. War, in a sense, is typically a situation of love but no trust. War is therefore, fought not with every one but with those who it loves the most and not possible otherwise to ignore. This is a worldly verifiable action that involves materials and products which act as a test kit for human character. Knowledge of natural system allows step by step changes in work and

choices of product. This is an act of purification by 'action of reaction' by increased knowledge of system. Work is War. Enemy, in this moment, is certainly better than friends because it opens up weaknesses of one another, allows overcoming it and is unlike a friend who covers it up. This sense of enemy in workplaces, acts to remove all our defects and impurity in knowledge of system 'dharma' and discovery of character (individuals' stability of decision). Furnace also explains purpose of work as war as heat treatment of ore to extract pure metal. Finally, a good enemy only can become a good friend just as two metals of the same purity make a strong weld. Similarly, warrior civilization such as in the west have successfully progressed in industrialization and management (with strategic and defence approaches) although these coexists with hostility, uncertainty and wars, and shrinking population. Process is ability of transformation. It is a mechanism of navigation, in keeping a balance between need of Control and Assurance. Usually, people think that more is the control, more would be the assurance, but it is not a natural law and certainly does not apply to humans. If character of human increases, more is the control, lesser would be assurance. And if human character is going down, higher controls would be then necessary for any assurance. Besides this, processes produce a situation to fit individuals into various roles mutually acceptable, within an organization, and verification of results of work acts as a feedback to sustain performance of this team work. Process is a mechanism using system of management (with objective of journey from disorder to order) with feedback. It has also an alibi of a certain product of interest or of high goal, as a means or incentive, to achieve re-organization or team work. To do it, a process has six organs located in pairs like ears, eyes and nostrils at human face. Leadership and Teamwork form organizational management. It is usually considered that managing people is more difficult than managing work or material or product. Because, materials like steel or wood or any natural forces have known properties or character but this is not true with humans. And to discover human nature, by whatever means, is the very purpose of management. Planning and Control implement the goal or product specific technical framework that describes the work management. This is not so difficult because these sciences are known. Lastly, Problem Solving and Correction in Processes are for the improvement management. These process organs apply in any product. Products are actually by-products, and provide a means of learning by work or interaction amongst people to transform character of people, how it changes choices of work and products, and improves ability of decision making. Remember, after a goal is achieved, the chaos starts again and to prevent conflict, a further new goal will have to be set up because otherwise, people will

destroy the peace again and at a higher scale. Given this theory, a process with a focus on product or high goals is a hurdle. Because an order which was made out of disorders by devising a materialistic goal is finally, found to be unsustainable and unnatural. This idea of an order is a much bigger problem. For example, people in industrialized civilizations are peaceful by force, and any knowledge of system or dharma is although a source of comfort but is a means of control and not the freedom. This is like being inside a five-star prison with carving for a freedom but one can neither leave it nor is happy within. In a war, character is frozen, and every day is as uncertain as any other day. Disease of specialization grows. This alternative form of incomplete knowledge opposes belief in general or universal laws of natural system, and depletes natural resources. The warriors, although aware of knowledge of natural laws but are without a freedom to act, have to remain contented with an attitude of intolerance, anxiety and disbelief. This peace is secure by a mechanism of laws and order and, other instruments, and gives it feel of an environment of crematorium with individually rich lifeless people, in organizations built by variously increasing laws of control and division of personalities and ego status. Step 2 Development is a journey from Order to Liberation. Work here is no longer a war, conflict or defences because all impurity in knowledge is removed. Work is Worship. Energy which otherwise was used up in strategy and defence is now involved in creation, detachment and freewill. Trust (by ability and interest) and Belief (by love, absence of defence and sacrifices) become complimentary. Organization of evils is powerful and strong. Sodium and Chlorine are reactive elements and when these two come close, these form sodium chloride. It is better for these evils to stay in organization and not in a Free State or society. Human organizations too do not violate this action of reaction principle of nature. Gold is highly sensitive and it has no reactive property, and thus does not form any organization and can live in a Free State. This is action of non-reaction. Action of non-reaction is a profound knowledge of the truth. Truth, like gold, is so much sensitive that no reactions can take place. This is love and belief in universality of the one self in all. That mother would not ask her child any choices because she feels that what she likes would be automatically best for the child. Material and products become immaterial because communication makes interactions unnecessary. It is said that those who love cannot see at each other because they both see in one direction.

Communication is this unity of the points of view, freedom from need of interactions, and is best expressed in silence. This sense of love and belief is of the highest risk and any breach of belief is worst than a death and it is protected at all costs. Truth of Self becomes the goal for all, and Self and System are to be distinctly understood in making the Self independent of System 'dharma' or of the laws of nature.
