The mechanical features of pipes with greater thickness values of up to 40mm must be agreed. The values of the ratio between the unitary yield point and the tensile strength are applied for the pipe product. They cannot be requested for the starting material. 3 These values are applied for transversal samples withdrawn from the body of the pipe. If longitudinal samples are tested, the elongation values must be increased by 2 units. 4 T = prescribed pipe thickness.

Packaging Vac Pac
No rebaking
The specially-designed packaging eliminates moisture pick-up. This results in very long storage time and dry, factory-fresh electrodes direct from the package without rebaking.

Reduced cost-improved control

ESAB VacPac reduces costs by eliminating rebaking procedures. The vacuum indicates no leakage which guarantees dry electrodes, thereby providing easy control and improved quality assurance. The date and time of issue can be recorded on the package.

Small handy packages

Depending on dimensions, the electrodes are available in packages of approximately 1, 2.5 or 4 kg providing quantities suitable for one working shift.

Tin packing
Hermetically-sealed metal packaging for cellulosic and basic electrodes
ESAB is always close to its clients, committed to the acquisition of important orders also in countries where transport and storage of goods are difficult. For this reason ESAB developed and produced a tin package for welding electrodes. These hermetically sealed packages simplify and make transport and storage more safe, also ensuring the perfect preservation of cellulosic and basic electrodes, even in high-humidity and high thermal shock conditions.

OK Autrod 13.13
Process: GMAW OK Autrod 13.13 is a copper-coated, lowalloy, chromium-nickel-molybdenum (0.5%Cr, 0.5%Ni, 0.2%Mo), solid wire for the GMAW of high tensile strength steels with a minimum yield strength (0.2% offset) of less than 610 Mpa and a minimum tensile strength exceeding 710 Mpa. Also suitable when welding steels where good impact strength at lower temperatures is required. OK Autrod 13.13 is usually welded with Ar/2CO2 as the shielding gas. The mechanical properties are given in the all-welded condition. After stress relieving, the mechanical properties decrease by 30 Mpa in the case of yield and tensile strength. FILARC PZ6104
Process: GMAW Metal-cored wire providing a ductile weld metal alloyed with 1&Ni for good CVN toughness down to 50C. Developed for applications involving thick plates, high restraint and/or low-temperature toughness requirements, as in offshore. Primary use comprises multi-layer butt and fillet welds in the downhill and horiz/vert positions. Root passes without backing are welded in the short arc mode. Pulsed MIG operation is applied to optimise the filling of positional joints, using Ar/8%CO2 shielding gas. Welding current: DC+
