Web. 31 January 2012 This is explaining why young American voters are so active with voting especially for Ron Paul. The author explains that the idea of free enterprise and limiting government powers is why in almost every state is Paul is favored. Author also mentions that Obama had the same support from the young American voters and that it may be a problem for Paul because Obama did not fulfill his promise to the youth. Agness is a very reliable source. She is the president of Network of Enlightened Women, which started at the University of Virginia and now has 15 chapters. She also appears on network channels like CNN and Fox as a political commentator. This article was intended for anyone who is interested in politics and especially anyone who is following the primaries because Paul receives most of his votes from the youth. This co-op will definitely help me on my research paper because it focuses on youth. This will not be a major source for my final project but will help me make important points My paper is going to about the motivation of young America to vote and this journal tells the broad reason why Paul is being supported. Olgun 3 SN (Social Network) sites really effects political involvement of the youth. Then the author continues explain his research method. How he is going to use a sample group of 3,500 Iowa citizens between the ages of 18-24. The most important answers they are looking for in their research was whether or not the users of SN sites collect their information from them; if so what kind and how this information will affect overall political knowledge, interest, and participation in politics. Then there are the data that was collected such as: News Preference by Media Exposure, Political Knowledge of Media Exposure, and Voting Tendency of Media of Media Exposure. All of these charts explain the information the authors were seeking. Finally states that the hyperbole about Web 2.0 in relationship with citizenship maybe just a hype and that whoever goes on SN sites to gain information about politics has already have that knowledge. Both the authors of this academic research is very credible. Both are associate professors at East Carolina University and have Ph.D. One person graduated from Purdue University and the other graduated from Miami University, which both are very prestigious universities in the nation. Baumgartner and Morris have written countless books, journal articles, book chapters, and professional papers together. This journal article will be the main source I will be using when writing my research paper because it is exactly on point what I will be writing about. This entry includes both sides of that SN sites do affect the youth and they do not affect the youth with credible references. Payton, Tony. Olgun 4 between 18-28. Payton in this entry explains how he got involved in politics when he was young. How he had to fight the criticism of being young and running for office. The way he got through to his voters was through the help of the his age group. He got help form local college groups. Payton also got through to his voter through social media sites such as Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter. Author is a very reliable source. He is a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives. He is the youngest member of that Congress. Before running for House of Representative, he educated low income families at a community college in PA, still helps out in the Big Brother and Big Sister organization of Southern Pennsylvania, and won a Leadership award from the Philadelphia Tribune. He also currently is promoting a REACH program. This journal entry will help me on my final project in the section where I talk about how young voters of America could participate in politics and possibly run for office. Ron Paul has been using social media the most effectively out of all the republican candidates. His Facebook, Youtube, and Twitter websites has had the most interactions (likes, shares, mentions, comments, followers, and references) about him and his campaign. BERK: Overall I think you did a pretty good job. Look over your grammar because this can be hard to read at times. I feel like you need to just work on who your talking about in this annotated bib because its hard to understand who you are talking about at times.
