Newsletter Comment Recently we have been experiencing awesome

times of fellowship with the Holy Spirit during our services and it makes me stop and think ' Why can't it always be like this?'
God's word shows us that we should be experiencing it more often. Jesu s Himself said: 'But you will receive power w hen the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywherein Jerusalem, throughou t Judea, in Samaria, and to the end s of the earth.' (Acts 1:8) Are we enjoying God on Sunday mornings and walking out full of joy only to enter back into the world and return to our 'no rmal' lives? We n eed to abandon the normal and embrace these last days for 'The ha rvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. (Matthew 9:37) '. We need to infect and effect others with our joy. We need to go forward with boldness and joy to show the world what it mean s to be a c hild of the living God. I believe that as we step out and activate ou r faith and authority we will experience more of what God has for us. ..`In the last days,' God says, "I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pou r out my Spirit even on my servants - men and women alike - and they will prophesy. And I will cause wonders in the heaven s above and sign s on the earth below..."' (Acts 2:17-19) and who doesn 't want that! Let's resolve to live our lives expec ting His manifest presence, taking hold of all His promises and influence our city for Jesu s. Andrew S.
