The number of vacancies may vary from time to time. While every attempt will be made to ensure that the intimation to the eligible candidates, short listed for attending the Interview, will be sent sufficiently in advance so as to give the candidate adequate time to attend the Interview, the Bank will not be held responsible for delay/non receipt in receiving the intimation by the candidate for any reason whatsoever. the propulsion system of aircraft and other airborne weapon delivery system. (g) Workshop Fitter (Smith). You will undertake major structural repairs of all aircraft at central repair facilities. You will also be trained in workshop trade for material treatment, welding, heat treatment, smithy and basic machine tools etc. (h) Workshop Fitter (Mechanical). You will undertake repair and maintenance work of mechanical nature. You will be trained in workshop trade and practices. (j) Weapon Fitter. In this trade, you will prepare, maintain and service armaments, ammunition and safety equipment of aircraft, missiles and other weapon delivery systems. You will also operate and maintain small arms and bomb destruction equipment. You will be trained to handle bombs, explosives, arms and their installation on weapon delivery platforms. SELECTION PROCEDURE - 15. VERIFICATION OF ELIGIBILITY. Original Certificates/Mark Sheets and other required documents will be scrutinized and verified at the examination venue on the days of written tests before the commencement of the written test. SEQUENCE OF EXAMINATION - 16. WRITTEN TEST. Written test will be objective type and question paper will be bilingual (English & Hindi) except for English Paper. Duration of the written test will be 60 minutes for Group X (Technical) trades. Written test will be conducted in English, Physics & Mathematics as per CBSE syllabus of AISSCE. On successful completion of JBPT candidates will be sent for trade training of specified durations. After successful completion of training, the airmen will be deployed on ground based jobs as per their allotted trades. 10. PAY & ALLOWANCES. During training, a stipend of Rs. 8,550/-pm will be paid. On completion of training, starting gross emoluments at the minimum of scale of pay including Dearness Allowance (DA), for Group X (Technical) trades will be Rs. 20,542/-per month (approximately) [Pay in Pay Band (Rs. 7,050/-) + Grade Pay (Rs. 2,000/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) Rs. 2,000/- + X Group Pay (Rs. 1,400/-) + DA @ 65% - Rs. 8,092/-)] which, in subsequent years, may rise up to Rs. 36,250/-per month (approximately) [(Pay in Pay Band (Rs. 13,770/-) + Grade Pay (Rs. 4,800/-) + Military Service Pay (MSP) (Rs. 2,000/-) + X Group Pay (Rs. 1,400/-) + DA @ 65% - (Rs. 14,280/ -)] as per sixth pay commission depending upon the rank attained. Other allowances such as Transport allowance, Composite personal maintenance allowance (CPMA), Leave Ration allowance (LRA), Family planning allowance, HRA etc. are also admissible to airmen. 11. Perquisites. Perks such as Ration, Clothing, Medical facilities, Accommodation, CSD Canteen facilities, Leave (60 days Annual and 30 days Casual in a Calendar year as a privilege), Education concession to children, Recreational facilities, Free transport for school going children and Leave Travel Concession (LTC) are also provided as per the existing rules. Notwithstanding the above, Group Insurance Cover of Rs. 25, 00,000/- at a premium of Rs. 1,730/- per month is covered for all airmen and facility of Group Housing Scheme is also extended. Other facilities by Air Force Wives Welfare Association (AFWWA) are also extended to the family of airmen. 12. Post-Retirement Benefits. Pension, Medical Insurance Cover, Gratuity and Canteen facilities comprise some of the post-retirement benefits. Specialized Pre-release Courses are also arranged to enable airmen to take up post-retirement careers. In addition, airmen also get relaxation in age and reservation in Government services as Ex-servicemen. 13. PROMOTION. Promotion prospects exist up to the rank of Master Warrant Officer (MWO). Opportunities to become a Commissioned Officer also exist for those airmen who qualify the prescribed examinations, later during their service career. 14. JOB SPECIFICATION. Group X (Technical) trades involve jobs as given below: - (a) Automobile Fitter. In this trade you are responsible for maintenance and repair of all type of light and heavy duty mechanical vehicles, cranes and loading equipment etc. (b) Electronics Fitter. As an Electronics Fitter you operate and maintain Radar, Voice and Data transmission and reception equipment mounted on latest airborne weapon delivery systems and ground based air defense systems. You will get trained in Digital Electronics, measuring instruments, radar technology, latest electronics devices and related trade fundamentals. (c) Electrical Fitter. You will maintain power supply system of latest types of aircraft, airborne missiles and associated ground systems. You will also maintain photo equipment mounted on air borne weapon systems and operate ground based photo systems. You will get trained in electrical trade, operation and maintenance of digital devices, electronic devices etc. (d) Mechanical System Fitter. You will repair and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems of airborne missiles, engines, automobiles and aircraft fuelling equipment. Complete aircraft ground support equipment will also be repaired and maintained by you. You will be trained in handling and preparation of bombs and explosives and in electrical system, workshop and mechanical trades as well as automobile mechanics. (e) Structures Fitter. As Structures Fitter you are responsible for the maintenance and servicing of airframes and their accessories, components and controls of aircraft. Regular checks for the entire hydraulic and pneumatic system to ensure proper functioning against leaks are also part of your duties. (b) Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - Candidates who qualify the height test will be subjected to five kilometers race to be completed within 24 minutes. of roll number, name, question paper booklet series, question paper serial number etc will render the OMR sheet invalid and the same will not be evaluated. The candidates concerned will be responsible for such mistakes on their part. 9. Merit List: Merit list in each category, namely Gen, SC, ST, OBC and Ex-servicemen will be drawn on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the written test. On the basis of this merit, the candidates shall be short listed for detailed medical examination as per the trade wise and category-wise vacancies. 10. Detailed Medical Examination: Candidates shortlisted in order of merit as per trade- wise and category wise number of vacancies, will be called for detailed medical examination to assess their fitness. 11. Eligibility of the Candidates: A candidate, in order to be eligible for the posts, shall :- (a) be a citizen of India. (b) have passed at least +2 examination conducted by the Council constituted under Sec-3 of the Odisha Higher Secondary Education Act, 1982 or equivalent examination of a recognized Council, Board or University, as the case may be (for the post of Jr. Clerk / Copyist, Jr. Stenographer & Jr. Gr. Typist). (c) have at least passed Diploma in'Computer Application from a recognized Institute (for the posts of Jr. Clerk / Copyist, Jr. Stenographer & Jr. Gr. Typist); (d) have at least passed Matriculation Examination or equivalent examination from a recognized Board and passed Revenue Inspector Training from a recognized Institute (for the post of Salaried Amin); (e) not be below 18 years and above 32 years of age as on the last date fixed for receipt of applications i.e. 15.06.2012. Provided that the upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years in case of S.C./ S.T. / S.E.B.C. and women candidates & 10 years in case of Physically Handicapped Candidates. For Ex-Servicemen, after deducting the period of service rendered in armed forces from the present age, the resultant age should not,exceed 32 years. (f) be able to speak, read and write Odia and has passed a Test in Oriya equivalent to M.E. Standard; (g) be of good character; (h) be of sound health, good physique and free from organic defects or bodily infirmity; (i) have not more than one spouse living, if married; (j) have possessed a minimum speed of 40 words per minute in Type writing in English (for the post of Jr. Gr. Typists); (k) have passed a minimum speed of 80 words in shorthand and 40 words in typewriting in English per minute (for the post of Jr. Stenographer) 3. Fee for the Examination : The candidates are required to deposit examination fee of Rs. 100/(Rupees one hundred) only by Treasury Chalan under the Head- "0070-Other Administrative Services01-Administration of Justice-501-Services & Service Fees-9904650-Law Department-9916730Examination Fees for Recruitment conducted by the Odisha District and Sub-Ordinate Courts''. The S.C. & S.T. Candidates are exempted from payment of examination fee. For the post of Salaried Amin, there shall be practical on 'Survey', comprising 100 marks. The Viva Voce Test shall carry 15 marks. Last Date of Receipt of Application : Applications along with the required documents and attested copies of certificates duly signed by the candidates shall Be sent by Registered/Speed Post so as to reach the Office of the District Judge, Baleswar by 15.06.2012 positively.
