ODL system Student centred Physical presence of instructor and students (in time and space) is not necessary but there are some face-toface tutor-student meeting. teaching occurs in virtual classrooms except for face-to-face tutorials. Teaching and learning happen both synchronously and asynchronously.

Try to find diagrams, sketches, schematics, photographs, flow charts, or any other visual representation of course material. Get relevant videotapes or CD-ROM related to the course materials. Prepare concept maps by listing key points, enclosing them in boxes or circles, and drawing lines with arrows between concepts to show connections. Highlight important points. Use different coloured highlighter for different main points. Write summaries or outlines of course material in your own words. have group discussions take turns to explain to your classmates.
