Please be sure to utilize all resources that are available to you (i.e. Technology, Renaissance Learning, etc.) TEACHER A started the lesson by asking the students what text structure is. She presented a YouTube video on text structure www.youtube.com/watch?v=PNvYs- Awesome! TEACHER A presented the lesson by using PowerPoint. Students were told to take down notes. She went through the different types of text structure with the class. She gave examples of each type. Between 11:25am-11:30am, students gradually returned to the classroom. TEACHER A, told the class that chronological order is not the same as sequence. I enjoyed your lesson today. I love that you started teaching the skill explicitly, then have a whole group practice/exercise applying the skill. Please review your concepts of sequence or order.
