1 General This method is used for verification of projects and non-circular tanks, with a pressure of less than 0.14 bar.
A.5.1.2 Calculation Methodology
Check the tank in the 3 conditions described by A.5.1.2.1 to A.5.1.2.3. The result of the 3 conditions determines the minimum thickness to be taken to different parts of the plating (see A.5.1.4) Based on the main characteristics of the plating (see A.5.1.3), the minimum thickness will be calculated according to formulas ADR 6.8.2.1.17. The result is shown in Table A9 (A.5.1.5) The minimum required thickness of shell, according to 6.8.1 and 6.8.2 (for plating protected), is shown in Table A.10 (see A.5.1.5) A.5.1.2.1 Test According to ADR A.5.1.2.2.
