Investing in employee well being In an increasing competitive capital market many businesses have identified the benefits of investing

in employee well being for the business. Jaine Clarke, the director of skills for employers at the Learning and Skills Council, has confirmed that businesses who invest in employee training and the development of skills are able to enjoy a number of benefits, including reduced levels of absenteeism and increases in morale "Individuals in the workplace always feel more loyalty towards a business that is taking [an interest and offering support]," said Ms Clarke.
