Towns and Small Towns in Serbia

COMPETITION, 2011. AUTHORS: Nemanja Vukovi, dr Aleksandra uki, Milena Vukmirovi, Mira Milakovi, Nevena Gavrilovi, Maja Miloevi, Renata uri, Stanislav Mirkovi. LOCATION: TRSTENIK, SERBIA Trstenik is a small post-industrial town in Central Serbia. The competition was to explore possibilities of spatial, economical and social development and ecological improvement on the regional level. Concept is based on the Creative city, a city of knowledge, with creative and sustainable industries based on local resources and creative class. Intervention can be separated on three different aspects: revival of deserted industrial building - Browneld, building the new sustainable housing units in the existing agricultural land - Greeneld; reconstruction and revitalization of the town center.

DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT 4 - SYNTHESIS, 2011. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vukovi LOCATION: BLOCK 1, NOVI BEOGRAD Architectural - urbanistic suggestion for the intervention on the corner of the Zoran ini Boulevard and Street of Omladinskih Brigada. Concept is based on reinterpretation of the existing design of the Modern architecture in the Block 1 (designed by the Branko Petrii in 1963). Two residential buildings are connected in the street level, forming a private backyard for the residents. Taller building contains thirteen penthouses, each with the oor area of 280 square meters. Architectural Revival of Old Town in Panevo

for the city. The competition was to design new meeting point for the residents of Panevo. Proposed design is composed as one main module - wooden light box, that is multiplied and arranged by the users to correspond to their needs. Solution is exible, mobile, economical and does not have negative impact to the protected urban core. It is possible in any moment to rearrange position of the modules.

DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT 1 - ARCHITECTURE, 2009. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vukovi LOCATION: UNKNOWN Project Row House is in the imaginary context, it can be applied on various locations. Minimum site requirements are twelve meters in lenght and six meters in widht. Daily activities are located in the ground oor, such as cooking, eating, relaxation (small garden is placed on the backyard of the site). First oor is reserved for the kids bedrooms - two bedrooms are separated by a movable wall. Last oor is occupied by a master bedroom. Every room has direct connection with the terrace (there are total three terraces in the house). Front yard is ve meters in lenght, and it is anticapeted for the car parking.

Urban Stop

ELEMENTS OF ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN, 2009. AUTHOR: Nemanja Vukovi LOCATION: TAMAJDAN PARK, BELGRADE, SERBIA Urban Stop represents a small intervention in public space that attracts users and stimulates their activities. Concept is based on continual form that is exible in a way to satisfy the needs of different proles of the users. It forms a Bus station in the sidewalk, and in the next moment it becomes park bench with the portal like Info-pult. Curvy shapes then transforms to screen that and an open gallery. Edges of the structure are rounded, to ensure safety of the users, especially children. Urban Stop interacts with the surrounding, creating a homogenous environment.

DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT 3 - URBANISM AUTHORS: Nemanja Vukovi, Maja Miloevi, Nevena Gavrilovi, Renata uri, Nevena Damnjanovi, Aleksandar Danin, Nenad Jovi LOCATION: METRO LINE 1, BELGRADE, SERBIA The topic of the course project was the Belgrade Subway and the inuences that its construction would take on the given area. Main concept of the project was Creative City. Main goal was to ensure Creativity trough the movement. Detail urban solution was given for the two Subway stations: Cvetkos Market Station and Law Faculty Station.

Public green areas at Cvetkos Market Station

Pedestrian zones are reconstructed and walking has become more present. Main pedestrians routs are alongside Boulevard of Kralja Aleksandra and around Cvetkos Market. Also, side pedestrian zones connects all new designed buildings and activities with station.

Green surfaces are distributed as green areas and sidewalk green. Big green public surfaces are located among blocks of Boulevard Kralja Aleksandra, which contributes to the ecological aspect of Creative City.

By creating new pedestrians routs, we are connecting activities on Park Tamajdan with student pavilion which is located between Technical Faculties. This route becomes main pedestrian route, alongside with Boulevard Kralja Aleksandra.

Green surfaces are distributed in the Tamajdan Park, while sidewalk green surfaces are located in the street sidewalks.

DESIGN STUDIO - PROJECT 1 - MASTER ACADEMIC STUDIES AUTHOR: Nemanja Vukovi LOCATION: KOSANIEV VENAC, BELGRADE, SERBIA Educational Centre is located in the protected urban core of Belgrade. Main characteristic of the area is a terain in slope, that had much of impact on the design of the Center. Building is buried in the slope, which contributes to the sustainability of the object. Free facade faces south and has a view to the Sava river. Acess to the building is on the both sides of the slope (Karaoreva street and Kosaniev Venac street).

SKILLS - Excellent skills at 2d drafting in AutoCAD, 3D modeling in 3ds MAX (ofcial Autodesk Certicate of Completion), Google Sketchup, good ArchiCAD skills. - Excellent skills at image-editing, document layout and graphic design in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator; good CorelDRAW skills. - Excellent Microsoft Ofce skills, including extensive experience in Word and PowerPoint. - Language: English excellent. PERSONAL - In a period of 1996-2008. member of swimming club Olymp Banja Luka, multiple National champion of Bosnia and Herzegovina in 50 meters freestyle and 50 and 100 meters backstroke (member of National Junior Team of BiH in Balkan Junior Championship 2006. in Pitesti, Romania). - Driving license B and C category.
