Task 1: The chart below shows the proportion of graduates from Bluesky University in 2006 entering different employment sectors. The pie chart illustrates the overall picture of career options that Bluesky Universitys students in 2006 chose after finishing their university studies. As can be seen from chart, service industries attracted the highest percentages of graduates at 33%. Being about twice as popular as service sector, manufacturing industry was the most second preferred career choice of Bluesky graduates with about 16 per cent. Education and politics & government were the next most common career options, with the figures of 14.7% and 12.1% respectively. More than one fifth of the total graduates went into the significant sectors such as the arts, entertainment, and media (7.8%), Science and technology (7.3%), and civil service (5.6%). In contrast, sport and charity were the choice of only 0.1 and 0.3% of graduated students. Finally, the proportion of graduates working in other sectors constituted 2.8 per cent. In conclusion, Despite a lot of career choices, service industries was the most popular option of Bluesky graduated students in 2006.

Task 2: The two pie charts below show how employment is divided in Tanzania and Ireland

The two pie charts illustrate differences in division of employment in both countries Tanzania and Ireland in 1999. As can be seen from two charts, the vast majority of Tanzanian people worked in agriculture (79%) while the minimum of Ireland employers went into this sector. Three quarter of the labor force in Ireland was employed in services whereas this figure in Tanzania was over 14%. Ireland provided well over 21 % of employers for manufacturing, which was about three times as high as Tanzania. The least percentage of employment was construction in Tanzania with only 0.6 % compared to 4% in Ireland. It is noticeable that Energy and water in Ireland attracted 1.3 per cent of labor force to work in while this sector has not appeared in Tanzania during 1999. To sum up, there was a considerable difference in division of employment between Tanzania and Ireland, especially in agriculture and services sectors.

Task 3: The graphs below show the percentage of adults accessing the internet in the United Kingdom between January 2001 and February 2006, and the percentage of households with various kinds of internet connections during part of the same period.

The charts provide the overall picture of the proportion of adults accessing the internet in the United Kingdom and the percentage of families using different types of internet connections during the period from January 2001 to February 2006. As can be seen from the column chart, there was a significant increase in the proportion of people accessing the internet. In specific, about 45% of adults used the internet in January 2001. This figure rose gradually through years and reached well over 60 per cent in February 2006. The line chart reveals that Any is the most commonly-used household internet connection which attracted nearly a half of families in April 2003 and approximately 58% of that at the end of the period. Despite being the most second popular internet connection at the beginning of the period with over 38% of households, Narrowbands trend was downward. In contrast, Broadband experienced a magic increase with nearly one third of families in Jul 2006, which about four folds as high as that in April 2003.
