I have come to the stunning conclusion that Rotterdam has (at least) 70 spaces / platforms / aesthetic zones for contemporary art, of which 14 are new to me. If you compare this to the art capital Berlin, which has roughly 1 art space per 2 square kilometres, our ratio is 1 to 3. So our city is not the cultural desert I imagined.
