CALL to WORSHIP: Katie Barrett One day the people brought children to Jesus, We were hoping that he might touch them. The disciples shooed them off, however. And Jesus was irate with us, and let us know it! "Don't push these children away!, Jesus said to them. He also said, Don't ever get between them and me. For these children are at the very center of life in Gods true kingdom. Jesus went on to say, Mark this: Unless you accept God's kingdom in the simplicity of a child, you'll never get in!" Then, gathering the children up in his arms, we saw Him lay his hands of blessing on them. It was a great morning! *HYMN #35G Morning Has Broken

Garden for God is up and running again for 2012! The youth spent lots of time out there during the 30-hour famine, planting and planning and dreaming of the future!! As always, there is a sign-up sheet in the narthex for watering and weeding. Garden tools, the hose, and the sprinkler are kept there for your use anytime and your efforts will be much appreciated by many local hungry people! It is not too late to join the group that has been formed to collect and distribute food that would otherwise be discarded. Many places such as farms, farm markets, or stores may discard food that they cannot sell. You can use the sign up sheet in the narthex or you can see Melanie Richman if you are interested in this new mission. The Prayer Wheel is currently being updated. As a reminder, the prayer wheel consists of two parts: the inner wheel and the outer spokes. The inner wheel pray-ERs will make the calls to the outer spoke pray-ERs. If you are interested in being a part of the prayer wheel, please see Jennett Stanley. Note: If you are the person that has benevolence envelopes number 90, please see Jen Gardner.

If anyone is interested in being a lay leader (liturgist) in the church please let Jill or Dana know.
