OVERVIEWS of ASP.NET
With the advent of ASP.NET we see shift from traditional scripting to the beginning of fullfledged programming online. VBScript isnt the only option anymore, as programmers can now employ the full power that lies behind both Visual Basic (VB) and C within their ASP.NET assemblies. There is no denying the widespread acceptance that .NET received from the developer community. Its proven itself to be well-developed framework with solid ideas on how the programming world should continue to change. The introduction of software solution that enables any one to code in any language that is compatible to the framework is groundbreaking to say the least. In this chapter we will take look at how active server pages (ASP) itself began just couple of year ago and how it has captivated programmers ever since. It has had some problems, of course, but the .NET architecture seems to have found solutions too many pre-existing programming problems. There have also been changes with how ASP works with the server and client, to provide the user with the information that you want to provide. Even though this is stable beta, and many people are assuming already that what we are seeing within Beta Two basically the freeze for many features it still has , couple of caveats due to its beta nature learning from these problems within the framework can allow for preparation against it .
1. ASP.NET is a key part of the wider Microsoft .NET initiative, Microsofts new application development platform. 2. .NET is both application architecture to replace the Windows DNA model a set of tools, services, application and servers based around the .NET framework and common language runtime (CLR). 3. Rather than just being ASP 4 or and incremental upgrade, ASP.NET is a complete rewrite from the ground up, using all the advanced features .NET makes available. 4. ASP.NET can take advantage of all that .NET has to offer, including support for around 20 or more .NET languages from C# to Perl .NET, and the full set of .NET framework software libraries. 5. Web applications written in ASP.NET are fast, efficient, manageable, scalable, and flexible but above all, easy to understand and to code! 6. Components and web application are all compiled .NET objects written in the same language, and they offer the same functionality, so no need to leave the ASP environment for purely functional reason. Youll have less need for third-party components. With a few lines of code, ASP.Net can talk to XML, serve as or consume a Web service, upload files, screen scrapes a remote site or generate an image.

SYSTEM ANALYSIS

Feasibility Study
Technical Feasibility:
The technical feasibility always focuses on the existing computer hardware, software and personnel. This also includes the need for more hardware and software or personnel and the possibility of installing such facility. This solution is technically feasible because it dont need any hire configuration for using this System. No extra hardware is needed.
Economical Feasibility:
It consist the cost/benefit analysis of this proposed project. The benefit always expected to be overweighing the cost. Economical Feasibility is helpful to find the system development cost and checks, investigation cost, software and hardware cost, training cost, salaries maintenance cost etc. The development system requires device that is personnel computer. The cost can be recovered very easily after implementing the new system, because it will reduce staff and require less time and place and greater accuracy.
14
Operational Feasibility:
It considers the acceptability of the system. It checks whether system will be used if it developed and implemented are the user of the able to handle the system, whether the proposed system cause any trouble, etc. As the system implement while keeping eye on actual process and it is tested for each time for its correctness there is a guaranty that this will work properly so it is operational feasible

Conventional Approach
Thogatveer Kshtriya Samaj, Sholapur, a foundation founded to conduct and manage religious and cultural functions for the people of Thogatveer Kshtriya Samaj throughout the city of Sholapur. The field work of this org. is the whole city and is limited to beyond its boundaries. As a monopoly type institution this lacked computerization. One of us- Ms. Amruta Udgiri belong to this community and thus had an idea of making their monopoly organization global thus by making all information available of the org. on WORLD WIDE WEB. We had a positive response from the chairpersons of org. and thus also we had their requirements and demands.
What we created?
A website that is completely created with consideration of the view of making a website that shows or gives all the information on our basic topic i.e. the Thogatveer Kshatriya community,
16
history about the subject, the people of the community in the city, the cultural activities held or arranged for the people of the community, etc. a site for finding any of the person belonging to the community, the events to be or are arranged from the org., the current facts and news happening in the community, functions, festivals, etc. will all be presented through our site. It will also be source or medium for the people to become or get membership of the org. and enjoy the services of login feature and also role granted web pages. A good level of security will be maintained throughout the site due to the login feature and also the administrator will be having total control over the membership requests and thus unauthorized people without proper information wont get membership id and thus wont have access to the pages to be viewed only to users.
