Managing Director & CEO Both of these organizations primarily concentrated on the international marketplace and focus on similar services, with the primary difference being that the majority of SSAIs business was defense oriented and GSI was focused on aerospace, infrastructure, electronics and other non-defense industries as well as environmental and infrastructure project development and financing, with a strong focus on water and waste water treatment. Services provided are primarily international marketing and financing support including extended payment buyer and supplier sales financing, trade and project finance, leasing, project development, offsets, barter, foreign investment, strategic partnerships, management buyouts, export control/licensing strategies and solutions, strategic use of diplomatic and political mechanisms, lobbying, market analysis and strategies, strategic alliances and investment banking services. In January 2010 SSAI was merged into GSI providing greater efficiencies and client effectiveness.
