Volunteer Opportunity Description

Work Involved:

Writers - these folks will work amongst a small team of volunteers to produce content for the new version of the BOK. They will work directly with a member of the Core BOK team who will serve as their team lead as well as work independently to complete their assignments based on aggressive timelines. Writers will conduct research, draft content, validate what they write against various sources to ensure accuracy, provide their content to their team for review, incorporate feedback received from their volunteer team and ultimately deliver their content to the core team based on expected deadlines. Writers will also be expected to review the feedback provided by the review teams and the BA community and determine which recommended changes will be incorporated into the final published text.
Time Commitment Required: Expected time commitment: 7 to 10 hours per week, over a 2 to 3 month time span. More during critical times. Must be flexible to meet with their volunteer team weekly for project status and Travel Requirements: None. All work will be performed virtually so anyone/anywhere should feel free to apply. Areas of expertise in which we are interested include, but are not limited to: Agile Business Architecture Business Intelligence Business Process Management, Lean, and Six Sigma Business Systems Analysis Business Transformation and Change Management Cloud and SaaS ERP and COTS Applications IT Systems Development Strategy development, planning, and execution
