Production Plan

4.1 Objective The intention of production planning is to build up an incorporated plan where the operations portion is the production plan. This production plan should connect the firms strategic goals to operations as well as coordinating operations with sales objectives, resource availability, and financial budgets. To evaluate and appraise the resources at input stage, like the raw materials, labor, data, information and methods required for a production process and to estimate their quantity and quality. To implement the pre-planned process in such a way that optimum production is achieved with maximum efficiency and minimum wastage. Production Plan The raw materials needed are available in the nearby towns specifically in Divisoria. To produce Knot accessories, it will need 3 to 6 pieces of Waxed Cotton Strings in any different colours, which costs P32.00 per each, and the seed and large beads that costs P25.00 to 40.00 per pack. Some products that were bought by the team are ready to sell. Producing knot accessories with four types of accessories requires organized processes namely, Deciding the color, Measuring, Cutting, Braiding, Sewing, Locking Packaging.

4.3 Production Flow The Production flow starts with the suppliers wherein the acquirement of raw materials is made. Then the process proceeds to the producer who will create the outputs. After that, the process will go on to the distributor who exchanges goods with the consumer.

4.4 Materials For our materials for the 5th Store, the team will use different colours of Cotton Strings, lock, beads, pendants and locks

The 5th Store employs a total of 10 persons. This includes the principals, staff and helpers. It will be headed by the manager who will take in charge of the staffs. The helpers will be administered by Ms. Mary Rose Simplicio and Ms. Patricia Noelle Torres. The staff will be attentive, productive, and diligent and can handle the task efficiently and effectively.

4.6 Tools, Equipment and Supplies The type of tools would diverge upon the planned production output.

4.5 Store Location/ Layout The plant will be located beside Robinsons Place Lipa,(Former Gillamacs) J. P. Laurel Highway, Lipa City, Batangas. It is a great place to put our business because many people are passing by there. Another motive is that it is near to schools like De La Salle Lipa and Canossa Academy.

Knotty&Nice

Most of the target markets can be easily seen along J.P. Laurel Highway. It is also very accessible to the people to visit the place given that it is beside the highway. Moreover, a lot of mall goers pass by the area as well as the employees.

The projected business needs 20-square-meter for the said store.

4.8 Utilities All the utilities, equipments and tools mentioned in the table 4.8.1 are the utilities used.

4.9 Maintenance To guarantee that the products are in good quality, the team decided to have a weekly checking.
