1. To obtain access to the developer and toner fill holes, remove the two screws that hold the clear plastic waste container in place.

3. After removing the two screws, gently pull up on the locking plate until it releases from the cartridge body. 4. Pull up on the end cap to disengage the small locking clip securing it to the cartridge. Fig. 3

5. Vacuum out the old toner/developer and be sure to remove any excess developer from the developer roller. 6. Fill both the developer and toner units. The developer goes into the small hole and the toner goes into the larger one. NOTE: Do not remove the developer roller to clean as it will disturb the setting for the magnet.

Fig. 5 7. After refilling both the toner and developer, reassemble in reverse order. 8. Before sealing the cartridge in an antistatic bag, be sure that there isnt developer left on the developer roller as it will spill off in the bag during handling.

1. To remove the OPC from the drum unit, remove the OPC axle. 2. The axle does not go all the way through the drum. Use needle nose pliers to grab the end of the axle and pull out.
3. After removing the OPC axle, remove the OPC from the unit by grabbing the end the axle was and pulling out. It is recommended to replace the OPC with each cycle to maintain maximum print quality. Fig. 7

4. Release the corona charging assembly and disconnect one electrical contact by removing the two silver screws at each end of the corona assembly, as well as the one silver screw holing down the contact plate on the extreme left of the cartridge. 5. Remove the contact plate. 6. Remove the smaller copper colored screw that is connected to the wire contact.

7. Note the proper positioning of the screws and the associated contacts in Fig. 9. 8. Also, review how the contact wire is attached and positioned to the copper colored screws.

9. To remove the wiper blade, remove the five silver screws along the top of the stamping. 10. After removing the blade, be sure to clean all of the old toner from the waste bin. It is recommended to replace the wiper blade each cycle.
Fig.11 11. After removing all of the waste toner, reassemble in reverse order. NOTE: Be sure that all contacts and contact plates are in the proper position and properly attached.
