wear. Through her MICHI knit-
wear designs, Walden Mcphee
creates sophisticated knits that
are easy to wear and easy to

mer afternoon wear, MICHI knit-
wear makes a unique statement
for all women tall, short, large,
small and in between. Walden
Mcphee custom designs and
fts the piece for her client and
does not call the outft complete
until the customer is satisfed.
A Queens, NY native, Walden
Mcphee, has been knitting over
20 years. Initially hand knitting all
of her designs, Walden Mcphees
fashion statements have included
jumpsuits, bathing suits, dresses,

Six StepS

Step one...Determine your Skin Type:
Normal-to-Dry Skin may appear taut, feel dry after
cleansing, and may be prone to faking without the use
of a moisturizer. This skin type may have small pores
and rarely experience blemishes.Combination-to-oily
Skin can often cause a slight sheen on the complexion,
especially on the T-zone. This skin type may have large
pores and experience more consistent breakouts.
Step Two...Select your Skincare System:
Based on your skin type, select a daily system that
will best meet your skincare needs. Products may
also be purchased individually to create your per-
sonal skincare routine.Basic Skincare, Anti-aging
Skincare, Special Skincare (for acne prone skin), or
Mens Skincare.
Step Three...Select your eye Cream:
Because the skin around the eye area is the frst
place aging appears, an eye cream is essential for
every skincare routine.
Step Four...Select a treatment for your skincare concerns:
Supplement your skincare system with products to treat and
address your personal skincare concerns.
Some examples:
1. Fine lines and Wrinkles
2. Dull, Rough or uneven Skin
3. loss of Firmness
4. Dry Skin
5. Blemishes
6. uV Protection
Step Five...Treat your skin gently:
Cleanse: Cleanse your skin twice daily, in the morn-
ing and evening.
Tone: Tone Skin in the morning and the evening to
complete the cleansing process and prepare skin
for treatment products.
Treat: Apply your treatment products in any order.
Moisturize: Moisturize in the morning and evening.
During the day, choose a moisturizer with SPF, to
help protect skin from the suns aging rays. Apply
eye cream as the frst step of moisturizing.
Protect: In the morning apply SPF for longer protec-
tion and all day moisture.
Step Six: eat a Healthy Diet, Dont Smoke and
Manage Stress: A healthy diet can help you look
and feel your best. eat plenty of fruits, vegetables,
whole grains and lean proteins. The association
between diet and acne isnt clear but some re-
search suggests that a diet rich in vitamin C and
low in unhealthy fats and processed or refned car-
bohydrates might promote younger looking skin.
Add nutritional supplements to the diet.
Caroline Monick
A
young French designer sees the
world through rose-colored glasses.
Her name rhymes with romantic and
unique, just like her frst collection of
cocktail dresses that accepts all the
nuances of her favourite colour, from
the old delicate pink to fashy fuch-
sia.
Sensual silk, enhanced with a touch
of lycra, Caroline Monicks models
combine elegance and bucolic mind.
These dresses are sexy and naive at
the same time ... A timeless style, in-
spired by nature and the rhythm of
the seasons which allow the creator
to live, in her little country village.
From Provincial France to los Ange-
les, the city of all dreams, Caroline
Monick has taken the plunge, at the
age of 24!
Her mantra mode? My imagination
is limitless. I design my models for
women in search of originality, com-
fort and harmony.

With lessons incorporated from her physically
active life-style, her collection is often charac-
terized by its practicality. She frmly believes
in the natural beauty of the curves of a wom-

by packaging her design within somewhat
masculine structure and functionality she has
always admired in military uniforms. For more
