Senior Manager, WW Returns Logistics

As a result of continued rapid growth we are seeking a Sr. Manager for WW Returns Logistics. The successful candidate will be part of the WW Customer Returns team responsible for managing multiple domestic and international transportation carriers, re-inbound transportation processes WW while providing a world class return customer experience for Amazon customers in nine countries and improving our cost structure. This role combines Operator, Planner, Account Manager, Analytics and Finance functions, and requires a senior person, who can show proven ability in managing and influencing transportation processes globally. Deliverables/ Scope:

Responsible for Return transportation of Amazon and subsidiary fulfilled items, and transportation operations planning for Amazon Fulfillment Centers WW. Responsible for project support on implementation of return re-inbound processes in return nodes Work with our technology team to develop carrier integrations, manage carrier configurations, and be a visionary for the use of technology in improving return customer experience. Define new KPIs, create metrics to Improve Returns internal cycle time, reduce transportation errors, improve reporting of scan events. Manage contracts, negotiate rates, account manage multiple transportation carriers WW. Reduce/eliminate the storage requirement for products during Return process Prepare reports, specifications, technical analysis to fully define the design requirements, equipment and services required Provide direction within internal technology teams to adjust system interfaces, APIs and services. Work with the Operations and Supply Chain organizations to determine carrier forecasts Coach and guide all project teams throughout the full project lifecycle Active involvement in Risk Analysis activities Improve Packaging Specifications

Preferred Experience/Skills:

5+ years multi-million unit and dollar return Logistics experience in an online or offline Retail Business Significant experience in material handling of wide range of retail products Detailed transportation, project management and implementation experience In-depth knowledge of return process planning Planning and Organizing: evaluates priorities and prioritizes appropriately; resolves conflict and communicates intentions clearly; delivers to time and need A self-starter who possesses intellectual curiosity; proven team player at ease with sleeves rolled up sleeves Decision Making/ Complex Problem Solving- proactively gathers information from appropriate sources, probes/considers all of the facts, considers other perspectives; refers to long term plans and goals, draws sound inferences; prioritizes key factors; acts decisively, promptly and confidently; able to operate with limited guidance Quality Assurance knowledge and experience

Fluent in English; knowledge of at least one other EU language highly desirable (French & German are an asset) Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean analytical and process improvement techniques

Basic Qualifications: Candidates will hold Bachelors Degree, MBA preferred but not required. Based in Seattle, WA. 25% domestic and international travel.
