Assignment Scenario: A recent informal survey of KS3 students showed that most do not intend to continue their music studies into the KS4 level. Mrs Chase and other music teachers have suggested that this maybe due in part to students lack of understanding of the Music Industry and the ever-increasing number of career opportunities which it has to offer. As a BTEC Music student and budding music advocate, you are to develop a page within your portfolio website which will seek to inform its visitors about some of the areas and job roles within the music industry that are of particular interest to you. Assignment Description: The Webpage is to have three sections: A. ORGANISATIONS (P1, M1, D1) This section should focus on an organisation within the music industry. These assignments cover the assessment and grading criteria at PMD1, PMD2 and PMD3. Where a student is currently working at pass or merit level, an opportunity to improve this level will be given as part of assessor feedback, along with a date for re-submission.
