Este signo lo invento Gerald Holtom para utilizarlo en contra de la guerra nuclear en 1958, luego se fue abriendo por el mundo y se fue utilizando en otro tipos de protestas y otras cosas. Yo creo que tiene que ver con el tema porque es el signo de la paz que utilizaban lo hippie. Los hippies eran las personas que mas querian que hubiera paz. Tambin es el signo que mas se utiliza para referirse a la paz. Por supuesto es el signo internacional de la paz. Este signo se a utilizado mucho en contra de la guerra,

I took this photo because it shows peace and tolerance between all the Spanish and English Exchange partners. It was taken in Bilbao in front of a fountain of friendship. This fountain was next to a museum, which we visited, symbolizing different cultures in Europe through art. We have all experienced each others cultures during the exchange. We have all come together and been united through our exchange experience, living with each other in peace and tolerance.

we chose to use this photo for the project because the peace sign can tell us many different things about the actual meaning of peace. the word peace means understand and hospitality, it is also used to stop conflict and make everything calm and safe. It can be used as an sense of silence, known as peaceful.

Hemos elegido esta foto para el proyecto debido a que en la foto dice "con la tolerancia en practica, el enemigo es el mejor maestro" lo que significa que todos podemos convivir con todos, y si al principio no nos llevamos bien con un poco de paciencia y comprensin todo se arregla.

Tolerance is not taking action against people who do things that you do not agree with. I chose this photo to represent tolerance because it shows two babies of different races getting along, but the adults facing away from each other because of their differences. It shows that society can change us and as we grow older, in some cases, we become more intolerant to differences. Although I didnt take this picture it has relevance to our exchange. We are people with different lifestyles that have met for 20 days and already become unforgettable friends.

This photo represents peace because when you are walking up the mountain you feel tired but you feel a sense of achievement when you reach the top. The mountain is very relaxing and a lot of people go there to find peace. Around Durango there are a lot of mountains and this is my favorite because it is very beautiful.

Es un buen ejemplo de la paz porque el mar y la gente pueden venir juntos y vivir la vida con paz. El martes, cuando fui, haba gente en Canoas. I like this photo because it explains the good relationship of Athletics and sporting Lisboas supporters. Often there are a lot of fights , so I want to show you that in football there are people who want to have a nice day. We chose this photo because it represents peace between all different people and races, represented by the animals. We went home and took this photo as it shows peace between the people of the world as they are all united together. The toys or teddy bears symbolize youth and children, children are the most peaceful as they are hidden from the terrors of war and abuse in the world, and therefore creates a strong emotion in the photo. The symbol at the bottom of the picture is recognised worldwide as peace.

Hemos escogido esta foto porque nos parece un buen motivo para hablar sobre la paz en el mundo. Esta foto representa la guerra en el mundo y en vez de estar todos unidos nos peleamos y luchamos por cualquier tontera. Aunque esta representado en un simple tablero de Risk, se puede simbolizar a nivel real. En el mundo como hay mucha guerra y tambin muchos enfrentamientos mucha gente se deja la vida o muere por algn atentado. Todo eso se puede acabar con un simple alto el fuego o reconciliacin entre los pases afectados por estas duras batallas.

This photo represents the tolerance shown to a homeless person and tolerance in the world. People tolerate homeless people in many different ways. Some people shout at them and some are kind to them giving them money. Therefore there are some people that do not like homeless people and some that do. Many people shout because they do not like being asked for money, as it makes them feel uncomfortable. Also even just seeing a homeless person may make them feel uncomfortable.

Muchas veces las guerras son creadas por razones polticas las cuales no deberan influir sobre la Gente de esa ciudad.
