Part One: YOUR Epistemological World Views Summarize here your ndings (even if tentative!) about your philosophies of knowledge: Absolutist, Relativist, or Rationalist? Domains Natural Science Item #s 1, 5, 14 YOUR Philo of K RATIONALIST Brief Reason + Remarks I think that there is only one logical explanation for how things work. As people grow older, they will have more mature and wiser views of the world, so they will be able to develop more thoughts. The beauty of art will depend on the person who sees it so both persons could be correct. Different people have different basis on what is right or wrong. People have different religions but not one has been proven true over the other yet.

Part Two: Ways of Knowing How important are the different Ways of Knowing in the different domains? Rank them from 1 to 5 according to importance, with 1 as MOST IMPORTANT. If you think there are other ways of knowing/judging, use the last column and specify. Part Three: AUTHORITY and/or EVIDENCE/ARGUMENT When you justify claims, how much do you actually rely on External Authority and Direct Evidence for every domain? Assign a percentage to each one per domain (Just make an estimate, so NO decimal points--e.g., 25.2321%!). Make sure both total 100%. Science is more based on evidence nowadays Evidence mostly tells us about the world, while authority sometimes hides the truth. Arts beauty is based on the viewer so we cant determine if we should follow authorities or evidence present. We often do or do not do things because others tell us not to do it. Even if there is no evidence that our religion exists, we still continue to believe in it because authority says so.

Why do you think there is no OPINION in Part Three? Opinion is what people most truly rely on, so if we were given a case where opinions are not allowed, we have to decide whether to side with authority or evidence.

Some other learnings, comments, connections... I think natural and social science mostly rely on reasoning and perception while art, morality, and religion are more based on personal emotions. I also think that there are more rationalists and relativists in the areas of natural science, social science, art, morality, and religion because in these ve areas of knowledge, most claims have yet to be proven true.
