The Nephilim and Genetic Manipulation

That word is . . . " " or "yada" (Strongs H3045) and one of the meanings is "to know a person carnally." See the verses and link below. The Nephilim and Genetic Manipulation

The key issue to my understanding this was the question, "Do angelic beings have DNA?" I don't have a absolute answer to that question . . . however, since everything that God created on earth (to my knowledge) does have DNA, since God's "modus operandi" does not change, and since the angels were able to genetically engineer the Nephilim using the human genome . . . I assume angels do have some form of DNA. While I do not believe that angelic beings can have physical relations with mankind, I do believe that they are far above us in knowledge of genetic manipulation. They would be able to take their DNA (or its equivalent) and combine it with human DNA. They could also manipulate the genes of mankind to produce offspring "in their image" or even just according to their imagination. This Hebrew word "bow" fits with my understanding of what happened. In our vernacular, the angels in question forcibly impregnated women with genetically altered embryos. (i.e. " come upon, fall or light upon, attack (enemy), to bring in, cause to come in, to carry in, et al) Man is just now learning how to manipulate/combine DNA (from different species) in vitro and then reintroduce the embryo into a host to create, for example ... a "geep" chimera (from a goat and a sheep). Scientist are beginning to clone animals and will eventually (if they haven't already) clone man. (see links below) These technologies are only recently available to us, but genetic tampering has happened before ... I believe that is what is recorded in the Book of Genesis. We tend to view angels outside of technology, but that isn't necessarily a correct viewpoint. Angels are created beings that live forever (just like man), they are able to learn, and they have had the opportunity to acquire much more knowledge than we can possibly be able to do in our short life spans of typically less than 100 years. In Genesis 3:15 we have the first messianic prophecy . . . "And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed [2233] and her seed [2233]; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel." If we choose to consider some of the accounts in mythology as based on fact, then the DNA of man was also combined with the DNA of countless animals to produce what we would consider "monsters." Satan knew that this was a disgusting thing (abomination) to God, and it did lead to such widespread (genetic?) corruption that a worldwide flood was God's answer to the problem. Satan and his kingdom are not able to create life, but they can corrupt and manipulate life. You mentioned the virgin birth, but the incidents recorded with the Nephilim are different. The virgin birth involved God creating the male chromosomes within Mary so that He could robe himself in flesh and become our kinsman-redeemer. The Nephilim were only a poor imitation of "creation," and they were/are a corruption of a pure thing.
