If the sound of an engine is your daily music and mechanics your religion, We invite you to show the extent of your passion. Let these mind blowing machines hit the track and fight it out in the most diverse conditions.

EVENT RULES* : Car and controls :

Propulsion: Fuel: The fuel should have these constituents: methanol, castor oil/synthetic oil, nitro methane. The percentage of nitro methane should not exceed 20% by volume in the fuel. Utmost one filter can be used in the fuel line. Power supply: The machine must have an on-board power supply to provide power to any mechanism requiring electric power. The maximum voltage across any two points in the vehicle should not exceed 12 volts. Radio controllers: The teams will have to control three components of the car viz. Engine throttle Steering Brake system. Teams must use IC engines as the power source DC motors or any other readymade kits are not allowed. Maximum piston displacement allowed is 3.5 cc. There is no restriction on the type of IC engine , but the engine must have throttle control.

The machine has to be necessarily controlled by a wireless remote control system. Note that participants are required to bring 2 remote controls of distinct frequencies or a dual frequency remote control.

If the machine is found unsafe to run on the track, that team will be disqualified from the race. The coordinators decision will be final and binding in this respect. Wheelbase: The wheel base should not be less than 275 mm

THE TEAM:
Each team can comprise of a minimum of two members and a maximum of five members. Each member must be a student with a valid ID card. At the time of registration, teams will be provided with a registration number and will be allotted time for the qualifying rounds Any team that is not ready at the arena at the time specified will be automatically disqualified. The teams must adhere to the spirit of healthy competition. The coordinators reserve the right to disqualify any team indulged in misbehavior. The team should bring the fuel. RACE RULES : KNOCK OUT ROUND: Knock out round track will consist of hurdles Teams will be allowed to go for a trial round once before the commencement of the event. The car will undergo 2 laps. The best lap time will be taken into account. Finally four teams will be selected for the play-off round based on their best time. PLAY OFF: Team 1 winner Eliminator Team 2 winner Team 3 winner Team 4 Final round
