MBA Admission - FAQs

1. When does application form open? Apex opens its admission twice in a year: fall and spring. For fall the admission is opened in August and for spring it is opened in January. 2. Does Apex take provisional basis admission? Yes, if you are waiting for final year/semester result and have passed all previous exams, Apex takes you on provisional basis. 3. Can I apply online? You are supposed to submit your admission form online. Apex does not accept hard copy application form. You can fill up the form with required information in a few days time and submit it to the admission council. Even when you fill online form, you need to come to college to collect your admission test entrance card. 4. What are the criteria of eligibility? You must have a CGPA of 2.0 in of 4.0 grade points scale, or a second division with 15 years of formal schooling including three years of bachelor's degree in any discipline. 5. Is there different procedure for admission according to previous academic background? No, Apex has only one admission procedure for all academic backgrounds. 6. What are the procedures of admission? You have to go through following different steps to get admission in Apex: a. Online fill up of form b. GMAT based entrance exam c. Group discussion d. Individual presentation and interview The test will be taken in this order, and students who are successful in one phase will be called for next phase.

7. Should we have GMAT marks prior of exam? No, you dont have to submit any GMAT score to Apex. We have our own paper based entrance exam on GMAT format. 8. Does College Provide sample question for entrance exam? No, College will not provide sample question. 9. What is admission test fee? The admission test fee is Rs. 1000. 10. How can I pay the admission test fee? You are required to pay the admission test fee in cash at Apex account section while submitting your documents. 11. How many seats are available in Apex? Apex takes 59 students each time in MBA and MBA- Evening programs, 29 in morning as MBA and 30 in evening as MBA- Evening. One student is admitted in the morning under Pokhara University Scholar program. 12. What are the differences between MBA and MBA-Evening? There is no fundamental difference between MBA and MBA-Evening. MBA is designed for full time students and takes 24 months to complete. MBA-Evening is designed for part time students, especially for working people, and takes 32 months to complete. But the degree is same for both MBA and MBA-Evening. 13. Do I have to fill the Postgraduate Reference Form? You have to download the Postgraduate Reference Form but you are not supposed to fill up the form, however it has to be completed by the referee (must be either Employer or graduate level teacher of the candidate. NOT a Relative) 14. What is the class timing for MBA and MBA-Evening? The class timing for MBA is from 6:30 am to 2 pm and for MBA-Evening is 17:45 pm to 20:30 pm.

15. Which documents do I need to submit for admission? As you fill up the online form, you need to submit following documents to admission council for verification and documentation before deadline date. a. Two passport size photos. b. Photocopy of Mark sheet of SLC c. Photocopy of Character Certificate of SLC d. Photocopy of Transcript of + 2 e. Photocopy of Character Certificate of +2 f. Photocopy of Transcript of Bachelor's Degree or grade sheets/mark sheets of all years/semesters g. Photocopy of Character Certificate of Bachelor's Degree h. Photocopy of Citizenship i. Postgraduate Reference Form in sealed organization envelop with stamp

16. When will the entrance exam be held? Admission Officer will inform you about the date and time of entrance exam. You can get your other queries clarified while submitting your documents.
