Description

Joe Urbach is the publisher of GardeningAustin.com and is the author of Phytonutrient Gardening: The Guide to Understanding, Growing & Eating Phytonutrient-rich Antioxidant-dense foods.  Living in the central Texas area for over 30 years, Joe can be found offering gardening talks and advice as well as teaching classes at local nurseries, libraries, garden clubs and Extension offices. He is an advocate for, "a kitchen garden in every home," and for the last several years he has installed raised beds and container gardens in homes throughout the Austin and San Antonio region.  Joe is currently focusing on phytonutrient gardening and with the release of his new book he wants to help as many people as possible learn to live active, healthy, and productive lives by growing their own phytonutrient-rich, antioxidant-dense fruits and vegetables.
