MORPHOLOGY AND HABITAT


Carp are divided into three parts: head, body and tail. Body shape is somewhat elongated and flattened upright. The anterior part of the mouth are two pairs of antennae short sized. Almost the entire body covered with scales of carp, and only a small part of his body not covered with scales. Carp like a place to live (habitat) in fresh water where the water is too deep and the flow is not too heavy, like the edge of the river or lake. Carp species classified as omnivores.

Carp Strain of Majalaya

Was first developed in the area Majalaya, Bandung regency, West Java. Grayish-green scales and the edges darker in color, except at the bottom of the gills and at the bottom of the tail fin yellowish. Getting to the back, the color is darker scales. Breeding Technique

Weighed stem weight of male and female goldfish. Spawning is done naturally by the male ratio 2: 1 female parent. Put in happa at spawning pond. Kakaban installed as the substrate. Allowed to spawn naturally.

Hatching Eggs

Parent moved from happa goldfish to the pond breeders. The eggs hatch after 3 days. The newly hatched larvae are given no food for 3-4 days.

Removal of seeds after 4 days the eggs hatch. Long maintenance of the seeds about 20 days until the seeds reach the size of 2-3 cm.
