UF is stand for Universal furniture and refer to our company. Universal are means the whole of the world. Furniture are means of all types of furniture that are means all types of furniture that we are make it. So, UF easy for people to remember and to know.

Explanation of colour
Blue: Blue is coolest colour and it universal that influence our customer to come visit our stores. Brown: It symbolic nature of colour which refer to wood and all types of furnitures.

BACKGROUND OF THE COMPANY.


The company was established officially on March 3 2012. Company markets a variety of furniture made of teak wood and rattan. States also has its own vision and mission to ensure that the goals and direction of the company assured. Among the company's vision and mission include:

The company name is universal furniture. The name was taken because the company produces furniture market as a whole. Besides that, the company also markets a comprehensive furniture in Malaysia. States will also expand his empire was spread throughout Asia and to penetrate markets worldwide furniture .

BUSINESS ACTIVITIES
-Skilled workers do their jobs to choose teak wood and wicker furniture suitable for the manufacturing process. -Supervisors should ensure that employees are given the tasks under it so that the furniture manufacturing process runs smoothly. -All workers need to test the efficiency of the operation of the machine so that the machine used is in good condition and safe to use.

-To provide and produce the good furniture and the variety of the furniture for satisfaction of the users. -To expand our company empire in the world. -To build an international marketing and worldwide.

To become a leading furniture designers and work to provide quality interior solutions and convenient to use. The Company would also like to excellence in the design of all furniture and aims to continue introducing exciting collection of products produced by our company. We intend to take people who are highly skilled, committed and motivated by a passion for chairs and the ability to interpret and meet the needs of our users.

Producing quality furniture and get worldwide market and ensure furniture sales had reached an excellent level and stable.

The first stage: Company produces two types of furniture that is wood furniture and rattan. Type of furniture is always in accordance with the latest developments and produces luxurious and comfortable furniture. The second stages: Market product throughout Malaysia including Sabah and Sarawak and we will produces our product to asia. The third stages: We also sales our product throughout online to make our customer satisfied with our service and make customer easy to buy our product.

MARKETING DEPARTMENT:TACTICAL PLANNING: -Always ensure that the products get market. -High demand from customers and achieve sales target and to stay ahead of the competition with the UF.
TACTICAL GOAL:Produce high value and excellent marketing to generate revenues.

PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT:TACTICAL PLANNING: -Always make sure the furniture produced by the company over quality and high standard . -Contribute new ideas to generate sales of furniture on the market there by.

TACTICAL GOAL: -Form a new revolution in the field of manufacturing for the modern lifestyle.

FINANCE DEPARTMENT: TACTICAL PLANNING: -Always make sure the account is always stable company prepares for economic and financial crisis. -Ensure that profits are always increasing.

TACTICAL GOAL: -Generate funding company that has always been at a good level and is sufficient to meet the other requirements.

OPERATIONAL PLANS.

POLICY:
-The employees who absent must have the sick leaves and annual leave. -All the workers must work 9 hours a day. If an employees is working more than 9 hours a day, the rest will calculated as over time. - If the employees worked well, and excellent, the employees will be given the best employees award or bonus.

RULES:
1) Produced furniture must be of high quality and are in good condition. 2) Each employee and servicing must comply with occupational ethics. 3) Workers who are absent three times to work, will be given a warning and will subsequently dismissed.

MOTIVATION APPROACH:
GOAL-SETTING THEORY: -employees know what the directions from 1st level manager to them to know what they need to be accomplished and they need to done.

-successful goal-setting: SMART S= specific the manager must give specific goal to the employee for they accomplished the task. i.e: the manager ask the employee for 50% profit for this month and employee must do well the task for they accomplished the task. M= measureable- the manager can calculate or measure the profit when the task has been done. i.e: the manager can count the profit at the end of the month. A= achievable- the task what was given by 1st line manager must right for employee to done the task and achieve the goal. i.e: the manager give the task to the employees to produce 500 units of furniture of this month. R=result oriented- for the currently month the manager can different the profit with last month. i.e: for the month the manager already RM 5000 and the next month profit the manager achieved RM 6000. T=time- the time taken to achieve the profit that has been ask for manager must be right time to achieve in one month.

LEADERSHIP STYLE THEORY:


MICHIGAN THEORY - basic form of manager behaviour: =Employee-centered leader behaviour. -leaders capable of creating a conducive environment in the form of an excellent worker productivity.

TYPES OF COMMUNICATION USED IN THE COMPANY:


Verbal Communication: -communication that occurs either orally or in writing. Oral communication -This is a form of spoken information which is not preferred type of communication used by organizational members to transmit information. Written communication - this is form of written information whereby organizational where members share information by disseminating message ( letters, memos, policy, manuals, reports and forms.). This form of communication is normally carried out in tandem with oral communication.

CONTROLLING APPROACH:-Feed forward control (Pre-action control) pre-action control is a control that happen before jobs start to avoid the problem in future. example: the manager hired a good technician to do job well. If the machine is not working, the technician can repair the machine.
