developed by an American, W. Edward
Deming , after world war II for improving the
production quality of goods and services.

academics. Many educators believes that the
Deming's concept of TQM guiding principles
for needed educational reforms.

Education is goal oriented. Accordingly , quality of
education has been seen to the following goals:

Fitness of educational outcomes.

Conformance of education output to planed goals.

Defect avoidance in education process.

Meeting and exceeding customers ,s
