FORMATION OF THE COMPANY The Housing Development Finance Corporation Limited (HDFC) was amongst the first to receive an 'in principle' approval from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) to set up a bank in the private sector, as part of the RBI's liberalization of the Indian Banking Industry in 1994. RESEARCH METHODOLOGY Sampling Technique: Stratified Random sampling technique is used for the collection of primary data. From the data collected it was found majority of respondents that is 40% belonged to the age of 35 to 50 years, followed by the age group of 20 to 35 years. FINDINGS OF THE STUDY The majority of the respondents regarded convenience as the most important reason for which Net Banking service should be availed. The majority of the respondents faced the safety issues was the major difficulty that they faced while using the Net Banking service. The majority of the respondents felt that the net banking service is better than the traditional banking.

RECOMMENDATIONS
The bank should adopt more upgraded techniques to make their customer feel more secure while accessing their accounts. The bank should take steps to create a trust in mind of customers towards security of their accounts. The HDFC bank should introduce more services which can be accessed through Net Banking like advice on investment, TDS, etc.
