Pranab Mukherjee
Full name is Pranab Kumar Mukherjee .
Born 11 December 1935 . Mukherjee was born to a Bengali family at Mirati in the

Bengal province of British India . Mukherjee attended the Suri Vidyasagar College in Suri (Brigham), then affiliated with the University of Calcutta. He passed double M.A one in History, another is political science University of Calcutta .

After that he passed LL.B . Is the 13th and current President of India Hobbies : Reading books , listening music , diary maintaining , gardening .

 Mukherjee began his career as an upper-division clerk

in the office of the Deputy Accountant-General (Post and Telegraph) in Calcutta in 1963 . He began teaching political science at the Vidyanagar College .

Gandhi recognized his talents and made him a part of her party . Indian National Congress in 1969 . Gandhi gave Mukherjee a seat in the Rajya Sabha (upper house) of the parliament in July 1969. He was appointed Union Deputy Minister of Industrial Development in Indira Gandhi's cabinet in 1973 .

 Mukherjee was later re-elected in 1975, 1981, 1993 and

1999. Mukherjee emerged from through a series of cabinet posts to become the Finance Minister of India from 1982 to 1984 . He had signed the letter appointing Dr. Manmohan Singh as Governor of the Reserve Bank of India .

 Mukherjee was removed from his position as Finance

Minister by Rajiv Gandhi in 1984 . Union Minister of Commerce and Supply 1984. He work as President of the State Unit of Congress Party in West Bengal 1985 and 200010 JUN 1991 TO MAY 1996: Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission JAN 1993 TO FEB 1995: Union commerce minister .
