Search Engine Optimization

Search Engine Optimization in the process of affecting the visibility of a

website or a web page in a search engine.seo may target different kinds of search engine including image search, local search, video search. Seo pulls more traffic.Natural listenings are perceived.seo gives better rci than any other marketing models. Whenever you enter a query in a search engine and hit 'enter' you get a list of web results that contain that query term. Users normally tend to visit websites that are at the top of this list as they perceive those to be more relevant to the query. If you have ever wondered why some of these websites rank better than the others then you must know that it is because of a powerful web marketing technique called Search Engine Optimization (SEO). SEO is a technique which helps search engines find and rank your site higher than the millions of other sites in response to a search query. SEO thus helps you get traffic from search engines..

How search engine works??

The first basic truth you need to know to learn SEO is that search engines are

not humans.Unlike humans, search engines are text-driven. Although technology advances rapidly, search engines are far from intelligent creatures that can feel the beauty of a cool design or enjoy the sounds and movement in movies. First, search engines crawl the Web to see what is there. This task is performed by a piece of software, called a crawler or a spider (or Googlebot, as is the case with Google. After a page is crawled, the next step is to index its content. The indexed page is stored in a giant database, from where it can later be retrieved. Essentially, the process of indexing is identifying the words and expressions that best describe the page and assigning the page to particular keywords. When a search request comes, he search engine processes it i.e. it compares the search string in the search request with the indexed pages in the database. The last activity is retrieving the results. Basically, it is nothing more than simply displaying them in the browser.

Social media optimization

Social media optimization (SMO) refers to the use of a number of social media platforms like facebook, twitter etc The goal is to generate traffic and awareness for a website.

social media optimization refers to optimizing a website and its content in terms of sharing across social media and networking sites.it means that your website should be designed in such a way that its content can be liked or shared easily so that when a user visits your website, he/she can like or share its content. search engines can use such votes accordingly to properly rank websites in search engine results pages. SMO not only INCREASES website traffic , but a site's rankings can also be increased.
It allows for a healthy business-to-consumer (B2C) relationship.

Social media marketing

It is the marketing style of gaining attention or website traffic through social

media sites like facebook and twitter. The information about website, product or any campaign spreads from one user to another through social media and not through the company or organization directly.
for example: 2008 USA presidential election was present all over the internet,

small or large business organization promotes their product by advertizing it through social media sites and thus it spreads or shared by millions of other people on the social media site. Social media has become a platform that is easily accessible to anyone with internet access. Increased communication for organizations fosters brand awareness and often, improved customer service. Social media is the most inexpensive and effective platform for marketing

DATA ARRANGEMENT
INTRODUCTION : Data arrangement is a multidisciplinary field, drawing work from areas including database technology, machine learning, statistics, pattern recognition, information retrieval, knowledge-based systems, artificial intelligence, high-performance computing, and data visualization. It is all about arranging of big data properly as in all organization there is a lot of data movement so, its arrangement becomes necessary.

STEPS OF DATA ARRANGEMENT:1. Extraction of data from various data sources and removing noise from it. 2. Data aggregation. 3. Storage in database system, data warehouse and Representation of data.

Model of data arrangement:-

VARIOUS FORMS IN WHICH DATA CAN BE ARRANGED: Table form (rows/columns)

Flat files Relational database system

Datawarehouse
Big data servers Flow charts Snowflake system

WHY DATA ARRANGEMENT IS PERFORMED??

Easy and access of big data as redundancy gets removed. Knowledge generation becomes easy and integrity is

maintained.
Query support and Data optimization.

RELATIONAL DATABASE ARRANGEMENT: The arrangement of data in the form of rows and columns is done through

relational database system, it is the most widely used method of data arrangement in which data is stored in tabular form so its access becomes easier.

DATA EVALUATION
evaluation is the process by which collections of data are assessed with respect to reliability, completeness, and consistency. Evaluation is inherently a theoretically informed approach, structured interpretation. So evaluation can be formative, summative. Evaluation is a systematic determination of a subject's merit, significance, using criteria governed by a set of standards. It can assist an organization to assess any aim, help in decision-making.
Data

PURPOSE
The main purpose of a program evaluation can be to

"determine the quality of a program by formulating a judgment. Evaluation enables identifying the strengths and weaknesses of a given project. Aim of evaluation is to submit to ordering persons reliable and proper documentary evidence that will help them to improve the management of the project and to assist the decision process.

METHODS OF EVOLUTION
1. QUANTITATIVE METHODS: It consist of counts or frequencies, rates or percentages,This data can yield representative and generalized information.eg Surveys, Questionnaires,Performance tests. 2. QUALITATIVE METHODS: Qualitative data collection methods result in descriptions of problems, behaviours or events.eg Focus groups , Participant observations.

DATA MINING
Data mining is about extraction of discovering meaningful new correlations, patterns and trends by digging into (mining)large amount of data stored in warehouses using artificial intelligence (all statistical and mathematical techniques).
DATA MINING IS APPLIED OF FOLLOWING KIND OF DATA Relational data Data warehouse Transactional data Advanced data systems

Fields of application :
Sales/marketing

Banking/Finance
Health Care & Insurance transportation

Data Correction & Analysis

Analysis of data- It is a process of inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and

modeling data with the goal of highlighting useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision making.
Correction of data- In information theory and coding theory with

applications in computer science and telecommunication, correction of data are techniques that enable reliable delivery of digital data over unreliable communication channels.

Process of Data Analysis

Data Cleaning

Data cleaning is an important procedure during which the data are inspected, and erroneous data areif necessary, preferable, and possiblecorrected. Quality of data Data quality can be assessed in several ways, using different types of analyses: frequency counts, descriptive statistics (mean, standard deviation, median).. etc. Quality of measurements The quality of the measurement instruments should only be checked during the initial data analysis phase when this is not the focus or research question of the study. Initial transformations Square root transformation (if the distribution differs moderately from normal) Log-transformation (if the distribution differs substantially from normal) Inverse transformation (if the distribution differs severely from normal)

Error Correction Realization

Error correction may generally be realized in two different ways:
Automatic repeat request (ARQ): This is an error control technique whereby an error

detection scheme is combined with requests for retransmission of erroneous data.

Forward error correction (FEC): The sender encodes the data using an error-correcting

code (ECC) prior to transmission. The additional information (redundancy ) added by

the code is used by the receiver to recover the original data.
Hybrid automatic repeat-request (HARQ): ARQ and FEC may be combined, such

that minor errors are corrected without retransmission, and major errors are corrected via a request for retransmission.
