The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science was established in the year 1998 with intake 60 Approved by AICTE, New Delhi.

OBJECTIVES
The Department aims

To prepare graduates strong with Theoretical and Practical


knowledge in fundamental and core area to excel in higher Education and Industry and enable them professionally competent.

To inculcate in graduates the necessary Skills to make them professionally employable with Moral Values and enable them to interact with the Society through useful contribution.

To enable graduates to pursuit Knowledge continuously by using appropriate tools and methods for further global Issues.

GOALS
SHORT TERM:

To start Post Graduate courses like Energy systems,


Automation and Robotics. To increase add-on/skill development courses. To conduct one or two National Level Technical Symposium, National Level Workshops and National Level Conferences per year.

To organize four Guest Lectures in every semester. To obtain two or three university ranks for every year. To be qualified and capable of functioning as professional
computer scientists in the workplace.

GOALS
LONG TERM: Achieving 99% results and 100% placements.
Promoting applied research in collaboration with industries. Obtaining sponsored projects.

Conducting International Conference for every four years.
