Introduction of Organization
NTPL was incorporated in the year 1999 It is an inbound operating organization catering to the Americans, Europeans as well as the South East Asian Market. Its moto is Promotion of Tourism enhancing the economy of the country. Offer strong negotiating muscle with these partners to provide our clients the required value and service. NTPL strongly believes that exceptional service must be the maxim, not the exception. This means service underpinned by experienced and proactive people, a personalized approach, honesty, accountability and integrity.

Air ticketing Department


The air ticketing department comprises of mainly three divisions being :
Reservation Department ASR Department Sale Bills, Issue of Exchange Orders and Cash Collection Department

Activities performed:
Effective communication with travel agents and clients improving inter-personal skills. Range of products and services and their features provided by the travel company. Learned to operate Amedus Ticketing System. Importance of teamwork. Issuing of tickets, making reservations, etc. Understanding the professional work environment.

My Role in Activity
Reservation Department
Guide customers in a positive manner Address the queries raised by customers Search for ticket availability Follow up time limits of the booking Instant response through mails to the queries generated

ASR Department
Keeping records of day to day tickets being issued Preparation of the ASR Report Study the commission st See to it that payment for ASR is processed on time Send request to the airlines if a client has some specific requirement such as wheel chair,phobia in taking a window seat etc

Issue of sale bills/Exchange order/cash collection


For every ticket issued, a sale bill is raised. A sale bill is a bill which comprises of the clients name and the amount which has been billed to the client. The bill is taken with a carbon copy. The original bill is handed over to the client and the second copy is kept in the office as a record. If a company is not a GSA of a particular airlines and the company is required to issue a ticket on some other airlines, the company has to issue an exchange order to the particular airlines. In exchange of the order, the particular airlines issues the ticket and raises a bill to the company This department looks after the collecting of cash for tickets issued. When a client requires a ticket, a sale bill is raised to them and the client has to go to the cash department with the sale bill and pays the mentioned amount on the sale bill.
