The skill of getting people to willingly do your will because of your personal influence.
Power
The ability to force or coerce someone to do your will, even if they would choose not to, because of your position or your might.
When do we use power? We resort to using power in a relationship when we dont have any authority, either because it has broken down or because we never had it to begin with.
You can rent their hands, arms, legs and backs, but their hearts, minds, commitment, creativity and ideas must be volunteered.

of the process of mentoring. Accept ideas, not without reflection, but as valid for discussion and review. Focus on the ideas, not on the person who presents them. Even if you end up rejecting an idea, accept the person.
Be Present
Have your whole self available to the
mentee. Be available to others as your respond to the problems and challenges of team members. Think about itconcentrate on it. If you remain centered and grounded, others will be more assured and confident.
Be Useful
Be a resource to your mentee. Listen, question, encourage, coach,
teach, model. Ask: What do you think we should do? Build a team. Give them the tools they need to make proper decisions.
