Whats a Design Style?


a theme used to create a sense of unity in a room
reflects popular style of an historical period, i.e., American Country or Victorian design styles evolve like fashion, but more slowly current styles are more eclectic, mixing styles from different historical periods (known as revival styles) goal: each element should contribute to the form and/or function of the space and combine to create a balance of unity & variety.
