PURPOSE
To present information and opinion about more than one side of an issue (for points and againts points)

Controversy of slang Slang is definitely a way to distinguish yourself as part of group or separate from another group. Teens use slang to show their independence from their parents and give them, and their friends a language they can call their own. Slang sometimes allows them to communicate without outsiders understanding,or to show off that they belong to a particular group. Teens like to use slang words for several reasons Firstly, they use slang to show their individuality. Daily teen conversations can be incomprehensible to many parents and adults. Influenced by MTV, hip-hop culture and popularity of email, teenager shorten words, stretch definitions and pronounce terms with different tyle. The way they talk shows their confidence. Secondly, they use slang because it is easier to say.

They might talk the way they do with words like coz for because and holla for hello and other because words are cool and easier to use, not because they are lazy. Finally, they use slang for speed and usefullness, and a little humor of the day. Slang flows quicker than standard language. Slang can color their vocabulary and sentences, so that they dont seem boring.

EXERCISE
An X-ray is a spectrum of light. When it is radiated through ones body, it can be used for detecting his/her internal body organs. The X-ray was invented by a German scientist, wilhelm conrad rontgen. Despite the fact that X-rays can detect cancer,cysts, and tumors, there are many conflicting opinions about the use of X-rays in the hospital. Some people agree that X-ray examination is beneficial. They argue that doctors should use an X-ray in examining a severe illness. If doctors do not use X-ray, they could miss some important information which very useful. In a making a diagnosis on patients disease. This will sometimes cause a doctor to be inaccurate in prescribing medicine to cure the illness. Other people , however, disagree with the use of an X-ray examination. They think that using an X-ray examination will cost them a lot of money. That is really true. Another reason is that the radiation of an X-ray has some risk to body tissues. As a result of this controversy, many people use traditional health cure to avoid the high cost of hospitals still insist on having X-ray examinations on patients to get an accurate diagnosis although the cost is very high.

There has been a great deal of discussion on the problem of abortion. The discussion includes: is abortion legal or illegal? When a country faces the problem of overpopulation, the government applied some metod to solve it.one of them is the method of contraception. However, people argue thatthe abortion is the only effective way out. Nevertheless, abortion may cause many negative effects for womens health. Women risk their health and lives in bearing the weight of the operation and its consequence. The most common complications are inflammation, infertility, endometriosis and many other kinds of ovary illlness. So far, abortions have become a dilemma for countries with a large number of citizens.
