EXERCISE - 1
1. Your home is located within a two-minute walk of the bus station, and is just a ten-minute ride away from your school. 2. Though you dont teach English, your English speaking skills are very poor and you are ashamed of speaking English. 3. Your School is located next to one of the largest shopping centers in your town. 4. You graduated almost a decade ago and have not acquired any further certifications. 5. Your in-laws are retired government employees and have enough money to spend on leisure activities. 6. There are many well-qualified, trained and unemployed youth in your town. 7. The state government is considering enacting laws to make training and skills upgradation compulsory for all in-service teachers. 8. Another local school is expanding its services and is on the lookout for experienced teachers. 9. Your school is considering opening two new branches in your town within the next one year. 10. There is news that your school is likely to be honored by the district collector at the next Republic Day for its consistently good performance at the board examinations. 11. You have been a diabetic for a long time and you are likely to develop diabetic retinopathy unless you undergo frequent eye check-ups. 12. Your schools offer to host the next inter-school competitions has been approved by the district committee. 13. Your spouse is very cooperative and appreciates your work demands and time constraints. 14. You have some very bright students in your class and many of them admire you as a 11 committed teacher. 15. You have a good personal library; but it has fewer volumes of books than many of your colleagues have got.
