    . The textile mills were the life of Mumbai city till the late 80s. Most of the mills have become defunct in the last 30 yrs. LOCATION Mathuradas mill compound is situated at Lower Parel in Mumbai. It is close to Lower parel station and the famous Phoenix Mills at Lower Parel. The compound has many factory buildings in it. The activities within the compound vary from restaurants and lounges, to ad agency, multimedia firms etc
