Why does the Hickman (the author) emphasize his own personal feelings of excitement and a desire to become one of the scientists in the excerpt? How does this excerpt make you feel? Because he really want to see the sputnik and he cant even wait to see the sputnik. Hickman as really interesting on space and sputnik because he read a lot of book It was as if the science fiction he had read all his life were coming true. And gradually, he became fascinated by the whole thing. It make me think that he is want to be a scientist one day because he is enjoy about sputnik .
