The Bachelor of Science in Criminology (B.S.Crim.) is designed to equip the students with:
1. Competence in the various fields of Criminalistics, Criminal Sociology, Criminal Law and Procedure, Law Enforcement Administration, Correctional Administration, Ethics and Community Relations and Defensive Tactics. 2. Adequate proficiency and technical knowledge with regards in the field of Criminalistics such as: Police Photography, Dactyloscopy, Questioned Document Examinations, Polygraphy, Ballistics, Forensic Science and Toxicology.
3. Awareness of the crime problems including knowledge of causal theories, and the implications of crime statistics.
4. Scientific knowledge and skills to investigate analyze and preserve physical evidence relating to the commission of crime, as well as to identify and present the same in court. 5. Adequate knowledge of the organization and operation of law enforcement agencies in the process of identifying and apprehending law violators and bringing them under the operation of the Criminal Justice System.
