MSME Tool Room and Training Centre, Jamshedpur (IDTR) is a Government of India Society, Under Ministry of MSME It was established in 1991 at Jamshedpur by Government of India under the assistance of Government of Denmark under DANIDA IDTR undertake Design and Manufacturing of Jigs, Fixtures, Gauges, Die Casting Dies, Press Tooling and Plastic Moulds for the Automobile and Engineering Sectors and machining of precision components

Drill machine are differentiated on the basis of hole diameter In IDTR there are three drilling machines available in the production house

 CNC Turning The Schaublin manufactured Cnc turning machine is used in IDTR. Beside this Schaublin CNC turning machine 125 ccn turn-mill is also available in IDTR which is used for both milling and turning purpose Model name Schaublin turning is used to make the product which I have discussed in my project report

 EDM (Electric discharge machine) This machine works with high accuracy and it is used for removal process in ion form

Copper electrode act as an anode.

 CNC WIRE CUT (CHARMILLES ROBOFILL 290) It is a material removal machine which uses the brass wire as shown below. Brass wire is used once at a time of operation

Convection method- In convection method the workpiece is heated from room temperature to 8500 C at 2 bar N2. 2. Vacuum method- In vacuum method the workpiece is taken above 8500 C to 14000C

PROJECT ON Manufacturing of Plate of diaphragm

The project on which we are working isPlate of diaphragm which is very important part of a fighter plane having project/licenser name SU-30MKI.The material name and code of the product is Al alloy D16T and GOST 21488-97 respectively .The size of the unit 6527.The code that is being used to describe the part is 2268.01.261 in production department. And the product number is RSF-31VT1
