1. What Apakah itu aktiviti makmal ?
Biasanya dijalankan dalam makmal sains. Satu kemestian kepada pendidikan sains untuk melatih murid-murid untuk menguasai kemahiran saintifik khususnya melalui aktiviti amali atau eksperimen.
2.When Bila sesuai untuk menjalankan aktiviti makmal seperti aktiviti eksperimen? Murid-murid tidak terus melakukan eksperimen pada permulaan sesi pembelajaran. Terdapat beberapa proses yang terlibat sebelum, semasa dan selepas murid-murid melakukan eksperimen.
Sebelum melakukan aktiviti amali atau eksperimen,murid-murid perlu memahami konsep yang terlibat,langkah-langkah amali,teknik menggunakan alat radas,aspek keselamatan dan cara pengumpulan,persembahan,penganalisisan dan perbincangan data yang diperolehi. Contohnya: a.Guru menerangkan konsep yang terlibat dan bagaimana eksperimen berkenaan dijalankan.(langkah-langkah eksperimen,aspek keselamatan,persembahan data,pembersihan) b.Sebelum memulakan eksperimen,murid-murid diberi masa untuk membaca prosedur eksperimen berkenaan.
Guru melakukan demonstrasi terutamnya bagi menunjukkan aspek-aspek khusus. Seterusnya barulah murid-murid melakukan eksperimen sama ada secara individu atau kumpulan. Data yang diperolehi kemudiannya akan dibincangkan dengan guru atau muridmurid. Murid-murid dikehendaki untuk menyediakan satu laporan bertulis tentang eksperimen yang dilakukan.
Bilakah sesuai untuk menjalankan penilaian kepada aktiviti makmal? Sepanjang proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran terutamanya semasa murid-murid menjalankan eksperimen. Guru memerhatikan sama ada muridmurid dapat menguasai kemahiran proses sains dan kemahiran manipulatif sepanjang masa murid-murid menjalankan eksperimen.
3.Who Siapakah yang menjalankan aktiviti makmal? Murid-murid. Siapakah yang membuat penilaian terhadap aktiviti makmal yang dilakukan oleh murid-murid ? Guru.
4.Where Di manakah murid-murid menjalankan aktiviti makmal? Makmal sains 5.Why Mengapakah perlu menggunakan penilaian semasa menjalankan aktiviti makmal? Supaya guru dapat mengenalpasti sama ada murid-murid dapat mengaplikasikan konsep yang dipelajari semasa menjalankan aktiviti makmal. Supaya guru dapat mengesankan pengetahuan dan kemahiran saintifik yang dikuasai oleh murid-murid.
6.How Bagaimanakah seseorang guru menjalankan penilaian terhadap aktiviti makmal? Guru boleh merujuk kepada rubrik pemarkahan semasa menjalankan PEKA sains.
